    Just under 150 Mph on the A2 coming back from Bluewater - was going for 150Mph but saw a police car coming down the slip road so slammed the brakes on took it out of gear ( No Noise!) and pulled over to the hard shoulder for a minute or so to get a bit of distance between myself and the cops & to let a couple of cars past :0) Very lucky!

    Got my car booked in with The Phirm in a couple of weeks time and Im going to get them to fit a new clutch & a quick shift kit - whats the one to go for? I know a few people have the B&M and some have the Nuespeed - whats the differences? Cheers!

    Yeah I was thinking that - I've got it booked in with 'The Phirm' in a couple of weeks so I'll get them to have a look and find out - I've had enough of taking it apart in the last couple of weeks!

    My & a few mates went to the Prism Motorpsort open day today as they have a new rolling road facility & what a day it was! 1st car up was there V8 Thunder Saloon BMW - its running a twin turbo V8 pushing put 640Bhp & 800lb torque!!! Mental! Loads of amazing cars there & I put mine on the rollers for the 1st time ever & got 214Bhp!! I was amazed! I wasnt too sure about the figures so another VR had ago and he got 196Bhp with an air filter/exhaust. As far as I know Im just running air filter/exhaust/de-cat - I was shocked with my Bhp figure & forgot what the torque w

    If he's driven into the back of you and caused some damage I'd report him! The insurance would pay out surely! Even if all he gets is grief from the police or insurance company its better than letting him & his bonehead mate gett away with it - aslong as they dont know where you live this is!

    I've just booked my car in with 'The Phirm' for the 11th of June - they've filled me with confidence & the cars not even there yet! They seem very profesional & very helpful - They've moved a few jobs around and delayed some to get me in for that weekend as I need my car sweet for the 17th! Hopefully their work does live up to hype! :0)

    Yeah I know! I was driving the 320i thats in the clips - I was beating mt mates Focus RS round there he couldnt keep up with me ha ha ha! Probably cursed myself for this trip now :0)

    The ABS pump saga continues! Basically my mechanic has taken the code off my old unit & has tried to put this code onto the new one (using VAG COM) but its not accepting it - any ideas why? Could this be anything to do with the part number being slightly different at the end even though its off a late VR6? Im getting to the end of my rag with this now! ~

    So if the top blade etc needs replacing the gearbox has to come out - is this what were saying? Mines in at the mo having this done & if the box is coming out Im gonna chuck a clutch in it!

    When I removed my carbon cannister I just removed the wheel & arch liner as I found it easier that way to run my cold air feed but whatever works for you :0) It only takes about 15 mins from start to finish to remove it too

    Cheers Warren! Cars still in having the ABS pump fitted at the mo - loads of grief about brakes not bleeding etc! We've got a rolling road day booked on Sat for everyone thats going on the trip & Fast Car will be there so it'll be interesting to see what its running :0) Watching those vids fill me with fear too! ha ha! I watched a 24Hr Ring race on Motors TV at the weekend, bloody amazing! Im waiting for June 17th like its Xmas day!

    Ha Ha! They always drop in their brothers car! I was getting petrol the other night when I was approached by 2 cars of chavs - 1 was Mk3 Fiesta with neons and loads of tack stuck to it etc, the other was a 1.6 Mk3 Golf (Ok he has some taste) they asked what engine it had & as soon as I said 'Its a 2.8 VR6' they shpeel out all this rubbish and totally lose any credit I would have given them! They kid in the 1.6 Golf said he had it booked in for a super charger conversion this week costing around

    Hi guys - I sourced a 2nd hand ABS pump for my car off a late VR6 and have taken the car in to be done but my mechanics having real trouble getting the brakes to bleed correctly and the pedal feels rubbish. The part number of my original unit is 1H2 614 217C The 2nd hand one that were trying to fit is 1H2 614 217B Any ideas if this would be incompaitable with my car? He says that it could be that it needs to be re-coded? I've not heard of this before but theres a VW servicing garage next door (Volksapart, Dartford) & they said thhat it'll need re-encoding to enable it to be set up? Any i
