  1. ZR-1 apparently suffer from "belt slip" which is why the ZR-2's have a cogged belt to combat that.
  2. Best way for it, my Supersprint system is as quiet as a standard one, just the way it should be. You have a car with a beautiful engine note, you don't want to drown that out with a chav exhaust drone.
  3. I don't something similar on my Mk2 Valver. I did the BMW M-Tech mod (get 2 badges, turn one upside down, cut the other in half and line it up so it says VW) and I got some enamel paint and changed the light blue/navy/red M-Tech stripes, to the German flag colour stripes. Looked great.

Dropping it 35mm on 17's shouldn't cause you any hassle whatsoever unless you're a chauffeur for the Pavarotti family.
  5. Have a look on Edition 38, there's always plenty of people selling wheels.
  6. Hella every time, Morette use Cibie lamps which aren't as good.
  7. Isn't that "mk1" a Fiat Panda?
  8. The guy PhatVR6 (R32 powered 4 wheel drive Rad) on the Corrado Forum was running R32 brakes with his TT comps, fit no bother apparently.
  9. Oooh what kind of mushrooms? If they're of the magic variety, send them my way.
  10. If you do end up fitting it, lay off the burn outs and other car park shenanigans in the future, otherwise it'll just keep happening, that's not what VR6's were built for.
  11. I'm 22 with 4 points, Admiral just quoted me
  12. I've had a Powerflow in the past, never again, I was able to snap it over my knee without much force after less than a year. Personally, I'd avoid custom made exhausts altogether, there's plenty of exhausts that have been professionally designed and engineered to fit your car, I'd tend to trust that more than a mechanic with a pipe bender and a welder.
  13. By the time the V-TEC kicks in, any properly driven VR should already be a fair bit ahead. They've got no torque whatsoever.
  14. Honda's are garbage, driven by utter morons, revving the tits off them everywhere so they can hear the V-TEC. Luckily none of them are wise enough to run them in after buying them so it won't be long before they all start blowing up and giving the rest of us some peace.
  15. Bollocks to that, I'll need one of those, a supercharger, better brakes, and a respray to do what I want. To do all that properly, it'll cost around double what the car's worth at the moment probably (if put back to standard). I think I'll just sell it
  16. How about a Mk2 GTi style one from Awesome GTi?
  17. I've got smooth colour coded arches on my Highline, it wasn't done by me, but in the year I've had it, I haven't felt the need to rip them off, I quite like how it looks. I say go for it, it can't do any harm, and if you decide you don't like it, it's easy enough to take them back off.
  18. They're over-rated by anyone who doesn't think they're shit.
  19. Supersprint has the best fit, I like mine.

    CLIMAtronic?

You'd need to fit all the sensors it uses too, it's not an easy job.
