    R32 stuff have been tried and tested on many R32's without much complaint, just need a spacer for them to fit on the front and buying them privately will cost a fraction of most upgrade kits from suppliers.

    It is a Highline, the arches were "retro fitted" to compliment the ABT kit, it gives it a slightly wider stance and looks meaner in my opinion, I had considered taking them off before I get it resprayed, but it looks a bit bare without them. Ideally I'd like the arches flared out, but that's a bit pricey.

    Well it's got 288mm as standard, with black diamond discs and pads, they're pretty good, but I always think there's room for improvement.

    Ugh, 6x9's are awful things. Replace the standard speakers with 6.5" components, it'll sounds 10 times better.

    I've got 288mm uprated discs and pads, still isn't as good as I'd like, and I'm planning on upgrading the engine soon so I'll need better brakes first.

    I'm looking at improving my brakes. I know the front stuff will go on ok if I can get a spacer. Does anyone know what size of spacer I'd need and where I cn get it from? IIRC, it's the same spacer you need to fit the 312mm brakes from other mk4's. I've not had the rear brakes off my car yet so I'm not sure what the deal is there. I think I've read that the rear wheel bearings are part of the standard VR rear discs. Will this cause problems with getting the R32 rears to fit on easily? Anything else i'd need to do to get them to fit? Cheers for any advice.

    Later VR's have 288mm brakes, early ones have 280mm. I think the late ones came with a passenger airbag and low glove box and early ones came with high glove box.
