    I run mine round castle coombe at every available oportunity. shes a bit heavy but great fun! I have upgraded Koni shockers and springs, but am looking to drop it on some coilovers which most people reakon will benefit handling. !lol

    I have found that also, even with upgraded disks & pads. I have heard talks of being due to heavy car etc... can agree to certain extent but feel they should b a little more responsive for ABS! deffinately not as bad as mk1 cabriolet though!

    ANy one else had problems with coil pack? I'm on to my 2nd now and basically problem occurs when starting, as in it turns over but wont fire. Upon inspection, the 5 wire plug that supplies the coil pack has a heavy brown wire which seems to have overheated, has become quite brittle and the connection pis shows signs of over heating, even slight burning. (I PRESUMED IT WAS JUST A BAD CONNECTION WITH THE FIRST ONE) But now i'm on my 2nd coil pack and its going the same way! Please help?!?!? %-6

    From my discussions with stealth and VAG tuner.com they all rate 268's! the higher rated cams can cause idleing problems for road cars. But think what other mods you are going to do later on, for instance if you are thinking about a charger, then these arent the best cams to go for without spending loads more wonga on mapping etc! Its all very new to me, but there are quite a few people that can advise you and perhaps correct anything i have said that is wrong?!?? P.S. hows the ice install going??

    Helpful advise required: Has anyone else with a schrick manifold got a copy of a R&R run? I know its fueling is off and hopefully theyre getting it sorted for E38 but that sort of drop cant be all due to running lean? But even without the s/c and other mods on the old engine i had a similar power drop around this mark.

    i went to scrap yard, found 2 suitable golf's, cut the plugs out and resoldered together to make adaptors. easy as that!
