    the stage 3 is the biggie, lots of large polished stainless pipes running around the engine bay... and a sweet little intercooler. that complete price was the full kit, everything needed and the v9 charger!

    Well here's the final stages of the rebuild: 2.9 lump, fully polished shrick 268 cams, polished and ported head, double head gasket, ARP conrod bolts & head bolts Lightened & balanced flywheel, Helix fast road clutch, VF engine mounts, and improved nitrous with digital controller oh yea, and a stage 3 Vortech charger kit c/w intercooler! and only 1 day to go! engine due to go in tomorrow, then some serious running in, only 1 week to clock up over 1k for USC at santapod... Any advise / feeback always appreciated - apart from staying off the juice for a few weeks!

    I'm back on line...! We own a mk4 1.8t - the missus' car! we share a lovely 1990 gti cabrio and of course theres my 2.9 monster soon to be released from the workshop ready for USC in August. and to think i used to think VW's wheren't all that a year ago!! I totally blame the missus! !lol

    standard... nah, that was with nitrous running the larger 100 brake jets, and the maximiser setup correctly! So in a good way, i'm happy i've had to fork out on the new engine and for that reason, i'm going to town! theres a little farm based racing company called hough & sons who are doing a stripdown and rebuild of the replacement engine, i'm having the cams done, flywheel reground, lightened and balanced and the SVR chromed up - i've been advised that will give me 15 bhp by the electroplating company! lol!! hope to have it ready for flatliners, which is on the 3rd!, then she goes back

    the guy wired it up after only to turn the abs light off. (thats a normal occurance...) the car is a 96 / P so it has the coil pack, it doesnt seem to be loosing power the only reason i know is because of the graph... interesting 1! I think i need to book her in somewhere. any suggestions? (South) Also does anyone know the car? original reg P642 LAB, well looked after car, already tastefully modified highline untill i mollested it! I bought it from Cambridge, but originally came from Wales area?
