they did a wolfsburg edition in the us 1998/99 would have been done to help sales as the mk4 was about to come out.

the plug is part of the main loom. i imagin its broken right where it comes out of the plug? making soldering or crimping hard. you may find that other vw's of the same age use the same plug and could be worth a trip to a breakers yard to look. if you find one cut it off a few inches from the plug the crimp\solder it to your loom.

mcrae's are 208bhp same as any scooby from that yaer and upto about 240bhp with all the prodrive goodies.

they used to be relly expensive £600-£1200 depending on make. for the cost of them now around £160 if they give a few bhp and your happy its all good

a header is the exhust manifold in the usa. they have allways said that there are no gains to be had by using one on the vr engin on vwvortex

sorry dont know where every one is from but some one must of started some thing to try to recover there money and could help out all the ppl UT have ripped off.

Have any of the guys in the uk started any legel action agains UT to recover mony ? if so you could get your solictor to do a joint action and split any costs between you? email or PM the greeks if you dont wont it on the forum and pls let them know what you have\doing to recover your mony.

Looks like he's copying schrick cam profiles and machining his own as long as the blank cams are oem quality i dont see a problem mabe you should email him and ask for more information. schrick cams are expasive as the have spent time/mony in testing and development finding out what works with the vr engin.
