  1. you will need to space them out a bit and the bore size is 1mm smaller then the VR6
  2. did you remove the sleeve with the old bushes? this needs to come out befor fitting the powerflex ones. It looks like its part of the beam but its part of the OEM bush
  3. the radiator as monted where you want. eg in front of the main radiator then connects to the charge cooler with pipes quote from VF-Enginerring about how Charge Cooling works. "Charge Cooling is the other method for aftercooling. Also called "air to water" cooling, a charge cooler system comprises of a heat exchanger in line with the boost. The heat exchanger is sealed in its own case and water is pumped through it. A reservoir, small water cooler radiator and electric pump are required to circulate the water in this sealed independent system"
  4. if you can not find one new you can find a van breakers cut one out of a sprinter or t4 and a good bodyshop will be able to weld it in.

  7. a few have been done in the US using eton chargers from AMG's the problem is with the mouting as there is no kit for the vr6 you would have to make cutom fitting for the belt pullys and charger modify manifold and TB plus are brake cylinder is in the way to be fitted like that pic

  10. check the part Numbers if there the same it will be ok i think that obd1's abs is diffrent to obd2
  11. you can get problems withe the flap not moving once the boost has built up this can be overcome by switching the flap at lower RPM befor the boost has got to high.

    R36 Golf???

heard the problem was the gearbox not the size of engin. they want it to be DSG only and the old R32 one wasnt strong enougth and the passate one too big so they had to make a new one
  16. The R32 exaust valve works by bypassing the rear box Have you got a middle box? if not you could get one fitted and a bypass pipe with the valve.
  17. Auxilary Water Pump if it make a lot of noise you may need a new one
  18. Awesome GTI have the ABT ones on there web site for £115 http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/store/product.php?xProd=3605&xSec=134
  19. nothing dodgy about them at all race engins have been using them for years. but the VR not a high reving engin so wouldnt be needed
  20. 3k sounds expensive s/c's are around 2k new so you would need to break the rest of the car for more then 1k to be any better off. the mk4 metel gaskets raises compression but when running higher boost from a s/c some fit a thick copper gasket to lower compression
  21. any pioneer dealer should be able to supply a new face. should be worth checking befor leting it go on the bay for a few £
