Why is it that some deivers turn into absolute morons when it rains?!

i live in hounslow, and over time ive noticed the standards of driving drop big time! I just dont know how people get a driving license these days. Its anything from ignorant assholes in their beamers/mercs to litttle gits in their old skool hondas...all thinking they own the road or sumthing. You hardly get a thank you these days for giving way and worst of all people give YOU dirty looks when they have done something stupid on the road. -
Sorry to hear that bruv. Bought back memories of when i got busted doing twice over the speed limit on 40mph dual carriage way. F knows how i still managed to hold onto my licence and not get any points.

ive had mine for 2 years now. Quiet fun to drive. But to be honest the next car im going to get will be manual. It can get a bit boring after a while. Ive added a bmc filter to mine. Kickdown is quiet potent especially when u do it at 20mph. You can always use gears 1,2,3 manually if you want. double pressing the accelerator drops the gears if you want responsivness. They are good runners, but as i said, can get a tad boring.

I HAVE AN AUTO. HAD TO HAVE A RE-BUILD DONE LAST YEAR. NORMALL THE AUTO'S DO NEED ONE AROUND 70K (ish). AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE, I COLLECTED THE CAR, I NOTICED I USED TO GET SCREECHES WHEN THE GEARS CHANGED. I DIDNT TAKE MUCH NOTICE OF IT. THE SECOND WEEK I NOTICED THE CAR WAS PULLING OF IN HIGH GEARS. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE GARAGE AND THEY PUT IT ON THEIR DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE WHICH SHOWED A INTERMITENT PROBELM WITH A SOLENOID. (DONT KNOW WHICH ONE). AS I WAS DRIVING AROUND WITH AN AUTO CAR STUCK IN A HIGH GEAR THE GEARBOX BURNT OUT AGAIN. TOOK IT BACK TO THE GARAGE AND THIS TIME THEY SORTED OUT

i decided to use shell optimax last week. Toped the tank right up. The car did feel more responsive and mpg slightly improved aswell.

oh and not to mention..........its actually -£507.00. The £7.00 charge paypal incurred from the credit card company for investigations! I got to bloody pay that aswell.

i mean...... this is going back to october 2004, the money came into my account, and i spent it here and there... bought a few bit'n'bobs....the normal stuff you'd expect. Im left with a paypal account of -£500. I mean WTF....you wouldnt expect this 4 months later would you? cash in hand from now on.......cash in hand baby......

Back in october 2004, i advertised some alloys with tyres on ebay for £650. They were purchased by a ebayer, who decided to pay £150 cash upon delivery and £500 with credit card through paypal- due to his credit limit only being £500. I thought fair enough. Once the payment had cleared through paypal and into my account, he came over and paid the remaining £150 and collected the goods. About 6 weeks ago i recieved an email from paypal, informing me, my paypal account had a unauthorised transaction and the payer was disputing the transaction??? Probably what every good looking single guy wants powerfull' date=' comfortable, not too harsh on servicing costs, nice exterior styling, reliable- should stay with me for a few years to come, and must be good for day to day driving. hi all! Ive noticed recently i have to keep topping on my coolant level every 2 weeks or so. I went down to a garage earlier on today to get a bit of advice. The vehicle was on the ramps for about 15 minutes and there wasnt even one drop of coolant leak. How ever i did mention to mechanic that there is always a trail of coolant in the driveway when ive just started the engine or just switched it off. He replied it doesnt make a difference whether the engine is on or off. He pressure tested the coolant system with 15 pounds off pressure and there were no signs of leaks at all. He told me the h

MY CAR S HIT AROUND 71K, AT AROUND 68 THE BOX WENT. IT WAS TOTALLY FRAGGLED. I HAD BEEN DRIVING THE CAR AROUND WITH GEARS SLIPPING FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. IT OBVIOUSLY GOT WORST AND WORST AND JUST GAVE UP ONE DAY.

Recently i had to have a solenoid replaced on my autobox, and i was informed the driveshafts had to come out in order to get to the particular part. Once everything was sorted the technician mentioned to get tracking/camber adjustement done. So i poped in my local garage which carries out tracking adjustemnt. This obviously hasnt made a difference, so i went down to feltham tyres in middlesex where the staff advised me on camber adjustment. The chap at the desk did say if the driveshafts are disturbed, then it is important to carry out camber adjustment. My car was on ramps, and within two m

i was considering the set (i.e p/steering pulley, crank and alternator pulley). Does these pulleys make much of a difference?? Im not really asking for big power. Just have a chip, bmc filter and magnecor leads. [ Edited Tue Dec 14 2004, 07:13PM ]

vr6pete, yep thats the part im on about, looks like you have a breather filter fitted at the end. My problem is...... the actual black round part is broken, it just hangs off. I tried some sealant but no luck [ Edited Tue Dec 14 2004, 07:05PM ]
