i managed to fit the airfilter and re locate the cannister to the other side under the battery. I ve got red kv85 magnecor leads, ABD racing air intake pipe,and now this filter. I noticed the idling was slightly lumpy. any ideas??

i picked up mine from vince aswell. Sounds very buffy. Improvement in throttle aswell. U can just tell the engine is breathing better. I havent chiped it yet Probably at the end of this month. The cold air feed pipe came with a black plastic surround which fits to the bottom of the air feed pipe. Ive lost it. Any ideas?

Im finding it a bita struggle to get that annoying metal clip of the vacume pipe which leads to the side of the engine. Its soo tight i cant even get the pipe off. Any ideas???

I picked up my bmc filter a few weeks, so i decided to fit it in. I manged to get the charcoal cannister free, but as darkness was falling i let it dangle near the brake fluid reservoir till the next day. HOW STUPID OF ME! Last night i was in a macdonalds car park, when i noticed white smoke coming from the engine. I opened the bonnett only to find the bloody cannister was on fire and melting away. I quickly put the fire away and called recovery. This evening i got under the bonnet and inspected what damage had been done. Luckily it wasnt that bad as i thought. I cleared away the ash from bot

i poped down to my mates garage today to get a set of HT leads fitted this afternoon. Once they were fitted, he pointed out there were was a crack in the coil pack near lead 3. The crack was letting out a small spark and a click..click...click sound could be heard. As a temperoray measure, he used a bit of silicone where the crack was but did advise on a new coil pack. Since i had the ht leads fitted, the car idles like crap, acceleration isnt crisp at all. How come the standard HT leads didnt cause this problem???? Please help. Also whats the best way to push the leads down into the plugs.

im slightly confused as to how the current side skirts come off. i was chatting to one of the guys at swg and he said they are mounted on by screws. i havent really had the car jacked up or anything but current sideskirts look integeral with the rest of the cars body. I cant see at all, how they would come come off. Some one help me. also is it quiet straight forward fixing the new s/skirts. cheers

i ve been in that situation a few times- when it feels like your being towed by the car in front!!! I ve had with the Honda Type R's and the bmw 530's. I cant wait to chip my car, cos that will make hell of a difference.

easy ALI-VR6. its kinda a lime green color. i known the driver for a while now. hes kinda short and a bit tubby.

Ive noticed the temperature even hits 108 degress in very humid conditions. Even the A/C starts blowing out muggy air. Could someone let me know on procedure of flushing radiator. Also a few people have recommeded the neupseed thermostat. Any help,cheers.

I came across a very very old work mate at the lights earlier on today. He was driving a so called "punto turbo". We were chatting about the old times and he said lets have a race for old times sake, so ahead we went. From take off i was leading slightly, but then some prat decided to breakdown in the middle of dual carriage way. I braked and switched lanes quickly. After that i never really got back into the race, he leaded by a good 10 yards. All i know is i have a standard engine and one of my HT leads is causing a very tiny misfire. speaking of leather interiors, my 1996 highline comes with a full beige/ cream leather interior. This has dazzled alot of people + me aswell!!!! Can anyone throw a bita light on this??

I reckon having a car different from what every tom dick & harry has (i.e. BMW with scorpion exhaust!) increases ya chances. The car that you drive does say a bit about you. A few girls out there notice these kinda things. I saw this girl once licking a ice cream in a very erotic way....babling on about git/vr6's to her mate while lookin straight at me, while i filled up not soo long ago.....So it does help! just curious to know if these are worth the money on a fairly standard engine (i.e chip, exhaust, filter, hi spec ht leads). Also i was on the net recently i came across an intake manifold for the vr6's developed by EIP tunning for half the price of a schrick. I want to get as much power out of vr as possible. i dont mind spending money on bits and bops if they help, but dont really wanna go the expensive way of a vsr or forced induction. any help appreciated.

cooler kit for the transmission fluid. I was checking out the mocal cooler kits, im soo confused about which one to get. they seem to come in different rows. 13 row 16row 18 row etc etc
