  1. Did you point out he was on the wrong wotorway? Nickbee, LOL! M3 and not M5 motorway! 8)
  2. I like the way that you have no room for suspension travel, but you have a 'speed bump' sign in the pictures as well! 8)
  3. Be interesting to see if it works. Might try that, while local in my road! 8) [ Edited Sat Jan 29 2005, 07:57AM ]
  4. Yeah they all (Highline)come with wooden knobs, but not wooden steering wheel. The majority are leather wheels. I know that there are a few wooden ones out there. Binliner had one on his previous Highline. If you look at previous posts, this topic has been covered so many times before! 8)
  5. The guy was driving a MK4 Golf Estate on a 53plate. Him and his wife were a couple of pensioners. I had just polished my motor and its got a private plate! 8)

  7. I was at the petrol station on Sunday filling the VR up, when an old man in a Mk4 Golf (53reg) was filling up behind my car. He came up to me and said what does the 'VRG' badge stand for. I explained to him that it was 'VR6' and not 'VRG' The 6 stands for 6 cylinders. Then he asked me if was the brand new Golf. I said 'no'. !amazed I said to the wife afterwards that I should have said yes and made out I was interested in swapping cars with him. I would have then been quids in after selling his car. He did make me laugh though. Suppose my private plate hid the real age of the car. 8)
  8. My passenger one does that sometimes. I press the button so that it shuts automatically, it shuts and the drops halfway down again. Couple of times later, it is OK! !amazed
  9. Hi Ben, Looking good Mate err...and the car! Cheers Jon 8)

  11. Thanks ACF8181, I knew you would answer and Thanks EBMURRAY. Yeah 2 guys done the same thing, they heated up the nut with a blow torch and couldn't get the nut undone. My friend is a mechanic who is going to fix it anyway, I see what he can do before replacing it. I'll keep you posted! Cheers Jon 8)
  12. Quick question? Had my wheels, laser alignment done (computer) recently, apart from the nearside front wheel. The guys could not get the nut undone on the tie rod? I need to get a new tie rod. Also, do I need to get a Track Rod End? Are these parts very expensive? Thanks (ACF8181) in advance! Jon 8) [ Edited ]
  13. That is brilliant, but I can't see that going on TV! 8)

  15. Hi Fin, Sorry to hear about your motor! Where did the accident happen then? Wasn't the Turner Hill back road or similar was it. Notorious for accidents! Something will work out for you, could be a blessing in disguise like Binliner and the Supercharged! Cheers Jon 8)
  16. Mine does that with Eibach springs and Boge shocks! Much better than standard though! The Range Rover look! 8)
  17. Yeah as Justin said 'VW Marketing' would maybe help you there. but that could not be accurate now, as you think how many VR6' have been written off over the VR6 lifetime.
  18. Looks cool Mate! That's what you could call 'a blessing in disguise'! From the front, with the Kamei grille, it looks like your previous one, apart from the steering wheel is on the other side, which gives it away! Cheers Jon 8)
