Scraping noise on left hand bends.

Antera309, I've had exactly the same problem since Xmas! My mechanic mate couldn't find what it is. When I slow down or turn left, it is very noticeable. Its like a high rubbing squealish sort of sound. First of all it was intermittent, now its regular. I'm haven't serviced soon, so I am going to get to checked out again. Cheers Jon -

There is somebody who lives near to me who has a 'N' reg Highline and he has climate control. I have a 'P' reg. I was very surprised when he told me this, because I only knew of it on the Mk4s at the time. I have since learnt it is on a few Mk3s. 8o)

I got insured with them (Elephant) last year at 28' date=' insurance was £510 with mods, 7 years no claims, protected no claims, Mrs (to be) on policy. More than happy. I have just renewed this week and also turned 29. Now £490 with 8 years no claims. Not a quiet place I live in either, busy town next to the airport. I've just renewed with Elephant for the second year with my Mrs (to be) on the insurance. 8 years no claims, fully protected with all mods declared for £490! 8o) [ golfvr6011evensmaller.jpg ]

Nice colour car there Six Appeal. Thats the colour I would have if I had another Highline! %-6 We chatted last year at No-Rice. I remember you commenting on that when I first came onto this forum. Yeah it was me. I was with my mate who also has a mulberry VR! 8o)

I've just come back from lunch and had a funny experience. I was driving along a main road when a lady come past me entering a major slip road to the motorway. She was waving me down and pointing at my car. I stopped to see what the fuss was (baring in mind I knew I had dodgy tyre) and she stopped. I wound down the window to see what the problem was and she says 'thats a lovely colour, whats it called'. I just laughed and said (relieved) 'mulberry'. I thought I would start off a new thread out of interest! I'll bet there be some variations, strictly veedub, not so strictly veedub, trackcars etc... Here's mine (Mrs') Toyota MR2 174bhp. My VR6 is a lot more torquey. 8o) And yes that is my dog, nothing else before anybody cracks a joke. [ mr2_001.jpg ]
