  1. Totally agree! I have already said its a JOKE! 8)
  2. HA HA, I've heard that one before. Its a joke VR6Freak. Thats very good Zonda!
  3. Hi Jon, Yes that car is definitely the one that use to go round Crawley with the 'older' man driving it. As you've got a clear light theme going on there, maybe you should finish it off with the side repeaters too! Look complete then. Don't get the aftermarket ones though. They get so much water in. I use to have those Lexus rear lights. Cheers Jon 8)
  4. Looking good Mate. The colour is nearly as nice as mine
  5. Don't worry about last post, I've just read another post about 2.9 Syncros and seen that Warren has a bought a VR from Germany! 8)
  6. Welcome back Jon. I wondered where you'd been recently. I thought you'd gone to Germany to sort out our Cup Holders, and return with some right hand versions or our money back! Jon 8)
  7. That was cool, especially when it over took the Scooby! [ Edited Fri Apr 08 2005, 07:50AM ]
  8. BTW, those lights look cool on your car. Look forward to seeing some daylight photos of it!
  9. If you don't mind me asking, how much are those FK's and also how much are the bulbs? Cheers Jon 8)
  10. Once a week, or fornightly. Depending on the time of year. And thats washing 2 cars each time as well! As for vacuuming them out, thats less often and only when they need it! 8)
  11. I've got a pair of Bonrath lifters which I had for my Mk1 Cabriolet, which I never fitted. Do you think that these were specialy made for Mk1 or would they fit my Mk3? Otherwise I'll sell them. Cheers Jon
  12. I tend to spend about £34/£35 for a full tank, but thats probably because I get it from either Sainsbury's or Tesco's. Still going to try Shell, to see what the performance is like. Do about 200 miles on a full tank, which is very local driving generally. 8)
  13. changed the mileage limit down to 5k (i dont do many) and it goes up to £690. Funny, I'm with Elephant and I changed my mileage from 7,000 per year to 5,000. It went down £10, so now my insurance is £395 and the car is valued at £8,000. 8)
  14. I must admit that when I drive my MR2 after the VR6, you have to watch you don't drive it too hard in the wet! Could be tail out happy! 8)
  15. All the best Ben! Can't believe you are going from sunny Sussex to slightly sunnier Cyprus. ACF, I have a MR2 as well (P reg Anniversary model). I think they are lovely cars as well as the VR6 to drive/own. Added bonus of taking the roof off. 8)
  16. Just took the car for an MOT and is sailed through with no advisories! 8)
  17. Its my 30th next Tuesday. My wife just gave me an early birthday present. A week off work as we're going to New York for 4 nights! Totally unexpected. Well chuffed with that surprise! 8) Whats it like for VW bits out there?
  18. And I think it is for the value of £8,000 or £9,000. I know it is not worth that now, but that is what I paid for it and insured it for 3 years ago. Haven't changed the insurance value since. Maybe I should reduce the valuation of the car and it would bring the insurance quote down a bit more! 8)
  19. My insurance is due up in a couple of weeks. Elephant have just contacted me. It was £480 last year, so I was expecting slightly less or maybe slightly more. I got the renewal and it says £405! That is with modifications declared, protected no claims and can drive any other car with the owner's permission. 8)
