    I looked at 2 within the same evening 2 years ago and this one was spot on. Mulberry/Purple is the colour. It is distinctively a Highline when you see it in this colour. I love black cars too, as that is was I usually have, but I wanted to be different for a change! [ golfvr6025smaller.jpg ]

    I have seen that MKIV have rear armrests, but not MKIII's. Not that I am after leather, (already got it in purple ) but I look at VR6 parts most days on E-bay, didn't come up with that on Monday.     I saw one for sale recently (maybe yours, Purpline) and the owner was selling the plate, 'S28 VRG', individually if they could. I thought that was a bit strange, but the owner also said there are 'S' reg ones out there! Quite a rarity I would say! :? [ golfvr6011evensmaller.jpg ]

    Bought the Highline nearly 2 years ago with 44K FSH for £8,000. Alloys, Hella Twinheadlights, Lexus Taillights, Dual Exit Exhaust, Kamei Grille, Side Repeaters, Induction Kit, Sony Stereo, Gear Knob, Doorpins, Tax Disc Holder, Suspension = Just Under £1,500. Not far off £10,000. Jeez, until now didn't realise how much I had spent. Thats a lot of money to leave lying around in car parks unattended!     Well mine don't look like that. If you've got a bulb like that, you've effectly got the brightness of 2 bulbs (more or less). Did your lights come with those bulbs then? If they did, maybe you've got a later set, where Hella learnt from earlier faults and updated the system of it! How do you find the vision at night then? Mine is crap, compared to normal headlights.     Cheers Pete, I won't be selling them yet. I like the look of them. With the Kamei grille,it gives the motor at the front an aggressive look! Thats my opinion anyway. There are 2 sets of them on ebay, both with 5 days left to go. 1 are £126 and the 2nd are £35. Hope this helps! I guess that 1 of yours has finally had it then.     Thanks Nickbee, what I meant is that my lights are adjusted to the left not to the right! I still need to know what bulbs are better as an upgrade!

    Hi, I have Hella Smoked Twin Headlights on my motor. The trouble with them at night time, is that they light up the ants on the nearside pavement, so the vision is very bad. On roads at night without street lamps, I have to go so slow as I can't see where I am going. I know that the headlights are designed for left hookers, but I can't adjust them to the right anymore. The only other alternative is to replace the headlights. Any ideas on what I can do and also what are the best bulbs to put in, is it Xenon? Thanks in advance! Jon [ Edited ]
