  11. dubclubracing.................the guy works from home and Specialises in Porsche wheels,he had them on ebay ....have been looking for them ever since i say them on six appeal vr but but was quoted £1400 at the inters, these came up for £650 8o) not new but vgc as for arch work, ive only spoken to style dynamix, they said £40 per side...where did you get that quote ?!
  12. yeah they do.......... gti 8v/16v and vr's all have the mfa.........i think the early clocks are different from the later ones though!
  13. yep it will be. remeber that most cars are designed as LHD' date=' then converted to RHD. so everything will be tidier on a LHD. RHD vauxhall nova's have a huge disadvantage over LHD as they coldn't be bothered to move the servo across and the linkeage they used instead has loads of play in it. [ Edited Sun Jun 06 2004, 01:30PM '] mk1 gti's had this problem....the only good thing about a lhd mk1 is the could stop
  14. justin...thanks for the info...will have a drive round there tommorow see if i can find them...out of interest when you took your car to style dynamics did they paint the arches after ?! or dont they do that sort of thing ?! Thanks guys........for the kind words
  15. lol......i take that as yes then ......hummmmmm.................autobreak ......g&l........gun hill....
  16. I think the pedal box is just moved across (clutch will become far right brake in middle and accelerator is against the tunnel/midd point of car if you see what I mean and as for the steering it is a mirror of the rhs....from a manufactures point of view if it didn?t have to be moved it wasn?t!
  17. dont get one from gsf.....i had to take by first one back as it was such a bad fit,the second one fits better but not by alot...go genuine if you can!
  18. cheers guys.............will ring around this week as i need to get the arches sorted before Bristol or they will have to come off and back to standard ....does any one know of a good body shop in Essex ?!
  19. just hadf a look at the pics again...think i focused on the last two pics too much' date=' which make it look tall! doesn't look bad in the first few. i'm not a fan of big wheels, however...at least you can get brembo's now (you know you wanna) [/quote'] lol...........would love some brembo's but cash flow is a bit of a problem at the mo,like its all gone, and ive only been paid a week &|..aha the joys of motoring
