We all had to start somewhere cabrioman, i started with a wee 1.3 mk 2 as my first car, insured thro myself, insurance = £1200!!!!

Now thats paid off over the years meaning i can drive a proper car.

if ur good and u live in a gd area you will have cheeper insurance if you have the newer cars then they are also cheaper to insure a 4motion is cheaper to insure than a vr by about £300

As for insurance im on fully comp with direct line for £750, but my vr6 is a 94 obd1, was quoted £1100 on a 97 vr6 highline!
