But as i'm obsessed about cleaning the car it gets washed every weekend and waxed depending on how cold it is at the time.And it's nice having the cleanest car on the road. Before my car would look so dirty no matter how slow I took the lanes and now its hardly ever looks bad, still wash it once a week and I drive past a jet wash on the way to work so I give it a mid week blast off just with soapy water then a rinse (no brushes involved!!). dstyrrell 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 I have a cleaning disorder so the winter actually is my worst time of the year. most of my weekends are taken up cleaning dirty things including my VR however i don't ever really let it get that dirty i have been known to take it to the garage at midnight for a pressure wash so that i'll be able to sleep without it haunting me. binliner 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 I use mine every day driving down country lanes so even though I give it a quick wash every week it's pretty much contantly filthy at this time of year... not a lot you can do. I actually wonder if constant washing does more harm than good at this time of year. All that grit and salt being wiped off the car is just asking for swirl marks. The paint has got several coats of wax protecting it so being dirty isnt going to hurt it Link to post Share on other sites
