Welcome to the club dude. Looks like a nice motor mate. You Should get her down to the Tatton Park show on the 07/07. Just a single day event on Sunday and not a million miles from you. I've got spare passes mate if you fancy getting down there for abit of VR time. Haha.

Volkswagen Northwest is the premier VW Show in the North of England, held within the beautiful surrounds of Tatton Park, close by the magnificent mansion and gardens and is organised by the Volkswagen Northwest Club on Sunday 7th August 2016.
 
Who fancies a day out to this one?
 
Last year we seen a good turn out for this one with some nice motors on the stand. One of our Mods didn't quite make it as his car went down with gearbox issues around 10 miles from the place but he's going to make it this year even if he's got to tow it. haha.
 
Single day event on.....Sunday 7th August.

Here's the best I can do atm, back to front sills, the offside front has brown water on it but I can assure u it is solid.

To be honest in the interest of safety I have to agree to some extent.  I had seriously stretched rubber on my Mullberry Highline and it seriously lacked grip.  My current one had slightly stretched which was better although I just replaced them with 4 full size yokies and it sticks like a bitch now!
 
I think moderation and with the use of common sense a little stretch would be okay but sometimes people are just daft with it!  I think really daft camber would be a riskier affair and in my opinion a lot shitter on the eyeballs!
 
Each to their own though!

And smashing people with plenty of knowledge. It's all good.

Hi Ash, yes mate off eBay. Been after this car off the owner for a while but he was reluctant to sell it. Changed few bits on it already but need a full set of leathers for it, then debating on a light set of tints all round and then full respray to show standard and then Inbetween start polishing the engine bits and either supercharger on it or turbo. Big plans for this car. You're vr6 is really nice. Looks the part mate

Keep it and get rid of the audi 80 estate as daily! 
 
Real men have a boosted VR for weekend toy, and a decent N/A VR for daily!  Haha. 

Ha, so do I. That's why I tried to get all the good stuff done first, but not its soon time for the not so good stuff to be done... But it all has to be done at some point I suppose.
When you speak to him tell him Mark with the VR6 from ANH Windows told you to ring, he'll know who you mean.. 

Engine finally in

Mounted turbo manifold just to test the fit.

Still need to bolt the driveshafts up but could not resist a look .
