is there anywhere in the south east that can re-map a charged vr6?

Amd tuning at lakeside, close to ikea. There's a rolling rd day there on Sunday 11th of may Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Will the replacement of the matrix take more than 2.5 hrs? Independent garages are approx £50 an hour labour, if it takes more than 2.5 hrs, it's not a bad price. I assume you're supplying the matrix and pipes and it's not part of the £120? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shit, they were my words weren't they! I can't remember what I said five minutes ago, let alone Sunday. Good job we didn't start drinking coz fuck knows what you'd be writing on here otherwise!!! :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That looks stunning!!! One of my favourite mods would have to be that 3.2 lump. I've noticed with these project cars is that they look great in the photos from all angles but when you see it in the flesh you can really see the attention to detail. Thanks for sharing daverse, hopefully I'll get to see this at one of the shows! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep, I hear that! I've spent a fair bit labour wise on mine. I work on the theory it's better to pay someone to get fucked off with my car, my top blows when a piece of plastic/metal/glass won't do what I'm carefully and methodically trying and do with it, wether on my car, round the house or at work. I'm a really placid bloke too, but inanimate objects make my blood boil when they don't behave!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know the res cap causes bother on occasion with the vr. I bought a salsa green colour concept with vr transplant, went to Wales to collect it and the car wouldn't hold any water at all. Oil filler was mayonnaised up and the bloke told me it wasn't HG failure. Ended up walking away from the car in the end but I hope not for the sake of a res cap! What are your opinions on this people? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've heard a faulty maf can throw all kinds of other codes when they go tits up. What kind of air filter are you running as the open cone style are known to balls maf sensors right up due to the oil used in them. Doesn't one of the temp sensors give running problems too?
