    Time to try to make this thing run right and relocate my maf away from the Rotrex. I'm determined to keep my air con so had no choice but to run a pipe right under the front of the car so I can fit the filter and maf in front of the n/s wheel behind the bumper. Bought some 80mm pipe work Extended the loom for the maf Had to trim a bit off the front panel but amazingly I think I might just get away with it! Just need some major cable ties or a couple of big mikalor clamps to hold it up, and I'll make some sort of bracket up to support the maf and air filter and hopefully I'll be all good to

    New PS Prestige steering wheel fitted which I've borrowed from Bealieboy's Nothelle [emoji16][emoji106]. Apparently these where one of the many upgrades offered by Scott's Mototune when the car was new;

    Finally got my interior in after fitting the rear speaker and tweeter pods into the new quarter cards; Used this to glue the speaker pods to the back, brilliant stuff!! Then bolted it all in;

    I'd like to say I'm definitely coming but at the moment the vr's annoying me a lot[emoji35] and I don't think it's going to be running 100% by then so probably won't be able to make it, unless I come in the gti again but I can't do another show without the vr!

    I'd say there's a good chance that with aftermarket management it doesn't run one, though I'm by no means an expert in this field! [emoji106]

    Thanks mate! Was a dream for a very long time ( as in max power and fast car magazines at the back of the class at school [emoji38]) to own a supercharged VR6, a few people have asked why I've not gone down the turbo route, it's because that wasn't the boyhood dream! Seats have cleaned up well; before with 20 odd years worth of erm.... actually I don't even want to think about that![emoji40] Then after a good squirt of tfr and interior shampoo a scrub, then a jetwash and finally a wet vax! They look like this;

    It had an oe recaro interior, but I always wanted this interior, it's from a German spec gti-edition, only 1000 made, I think? Though I've just realised there's no holes for rear quarter speakers which is irritating as I just gave a set of rear quarter cards away[emoji35]! That's what was in it;

    Went and picked this lot up from Northampton today, popped up on eBay so I snapped them up, been after a set for a while but only seen them come up without door cards, going to need a serious clean though! Popped a door card on with the highline door pocket;

    You should be able to take a bit of slack up on the throttle body end of the cable quite easily, On that part. Hope that helps[emoji106]

    Just a little tidy up of the charger pipes today along with a forge recirc valve I had, before; After; And put on the corrado gearbox brace after putting a bit of paint on it; Also painted the top half of the header tank textured black ( a bit like some Mercedes ones), because I was fed up with looking at the yellow stained one!
