    Ah yeah I forgot about power steering. Think I'll leave it, was only thinking as I'll have the front end off soon that I could do them at the same time but might not bother

    Is poly bushing the front subframe just a case of supporting engine and loosening the front engine mount then the 4 bolts the bushes pass through, cut old bushes out, squeeze new ones in and re-fit? Cheers

    Bump...May be a silly question but how much oil will I lose taking off the existing cooler cap to replace with my elongated bolt and sandwich plate?

    Personally if I was to smooth a bumper I would keep it stock and run indicators in place of fogs in the lower bumper cut out

    Lights in the front bumpers are: Indicators (outermost lights) Fog lights (if fitted, innermost towards the number plate) So the indicators would need relocating

    I had to unblock mine and just poured boiling water into the sunroof drain channel and got a long sink unblocking spring divice from a local hardware store. Twisted it and pulled out so much crap then got burnt by the boiling water that flowed out haha

    My girlfriend loved my Bora as it was comfortable and had heated leather seats. She hates the VR as its noisy, uncomfortable and cold. Never causes arguments as my money is mine for the golf and hers is hers for girl stuff. As long as the rent is paid and we have food its fine

    Might have got myself confused. Does oil enter the cooler from the cap side or block side? So oil could run through the tube to the cap then through the sandwich plate then through the top of the factory cooler then to block?or other way round??

    Bumping this. I have my United Motorsport tube but I'm a bit confused how the oil gets cooled/heated by the stock cooler as the holes don't seem to line up with the stock cooler only the sandwich plate. Unless I have got confused. Thanks

    Looking online it shows the kits with large flat washers and small spacer sleeves. Mine didnt have the large washers but had the small sleeves and could only line the bolt up with lower one.

    I used adapters previously and didnt really notice any difference if I'm honest. These were on 16's though. I would say 18's will be too big and the tyres will be very low profile and give bad ride quality.

    Dash command reads a few outputs from the ECU. It gives coolant temp, voltage etc Have a look on app store for some screenshots

    You can use Bluetooth with android but not iphone. For iphone you need a wifi one. I have it working with dash command in my mk3.

    They werent working haha All seems sorted now just would be easier to keep an eye on. Didnt know if there was a blank on the block or anything to run a sender from.

    I have the phone app but I figured it'd be easier to have something permanent that doesn't need connecting every time. I like to keep an eye on the actual temp since having problems with my fans.
