    need to wrap my engine loom as most of the tape has come off, i bought some loom tape but its not sticky like electrical tape?? anyone got a link for some good sticky engine loom tape??

    below the front grill, the matel bit i want to spray as its looking tired and stone chipped, does it just pull off?

    cool does any de-cat pipe fit? as i know there are 2x different cats for the golf vr6.

    cool is it illegal to use one though?? also is there much of a performance gain or not?? 1992 car i have so its an early one.

    all i do lukey is give it a small knock and the noise stops? lol

    yesp same with me gary, its buzzing when i get in the car, when i start it the noise stops!

    my car does this every now and them, i just give the motor a quick knock in the boot and it stops making the buzzing noise!

    heater fans only work on my mk3 golf vr6 on number 4 the really strong blower, for some reason 1,2 and 3 has stopped working when i twist the knob, any ideas whats wrong? :-(

    just been looking for lambda sensor on ebay for the 1992 vr6 obd1, some say for non cats and some say for cars with cats. i thought all golf vr6's had cats though??

    all brand temperature senders replaced tony - yellow and blue ones in the thermostat housing plus the inlet manifold temperature sensor. :-) wouldnt the lamba of popped up on vag com if it was at fault? :-# MAF has been cleaned, the car runs with it unplugged but if i go to plug it back in the car will cut out sometimes.

    had it on VAG com and code - 00533 Idle Speed Regulation also all emmissions were high on the exhaust probe at high and low revs. :-# in relation to 00533 code ive cleaned the throttle body out and looked for split vaccum pipes (replaced one) also got a new idle control valve but still a bit iffy on idle and smells a bit rich still! :-(

    cool what fuse is it, ive lost my black fuse cover :-(

    whats a good PSI reading on each cylinder on the vr6 2.8? also if i remember from past cars, do you take the fuse out for the fuel pump and screw the PSI guage into the spark plug bore?

    i want to give my car another go on vag com, my friend has left his VW garage now and i want to see if the fault codes have cleared? :-)
