  1. Ermm i think that might be wrong as my early obd1 with a dizzy had a plastic one and my later obd2 coiplack has a metal one? Now I'm confused! Lol
  2. Been mocking up all the boost pipes today. Wiring all figured out. Going in tomorrow. Lambda sensor going to tomorrow with wideband. So are the gauges. Not sure where to mount them. Everything will be ready for Thursday when I get the exhaust off Helen and then it should be mot time. Cutting up the front bumper bar tomorrow too to mount the intercooler too. I am also having a problem with brake master cylinder and servos. Should not be this slanted! Lol Got the intake pipe on today too. With maf etc. More updates tomorrow eve.

  4. Agree... The later rocker covers don't leak as much as the older one due to a better gasket and mating face shape. If that makes sense. Throttle is definitely early so maybe just changed the rocker cover as it was leaking?
  5. It should come up on that. But might be worth taking out and cleaning?
  6. Is it not because they have a soft limiter instead of a fast and furious hard limiter?
  7. Not much to update. Got driveshafts in and bolted up. Boost controller is in and fixed to the drivers side of the centre console. Sump off cleaned up.. Shall be all bolted on tonight.

  15. Yeah it's says feed from Turbo compressor and feed from wastegate so do I not need too run any other lines from them?

  17. How would I link up my boost controller too them? As its an in car one. Just loop them to that?
  18. Where is everyone running there vacum pipes? I have been doing some reading on where the wastegate should take its vaccum from but I only have one on the wastegate and am running a boost controller too. Some people have it on the manifold as its suppose to give the wastegate the best reading and my boost gauge will be coming off that too. Some people say attach it straight too the turbo but others say it gives an immaculate reading. Other people have connected it too a charge pipe before the throttle body? One more question.... Does the fpr need too be connected too the blow off valve or j
  19. Final finished the paint. Not happy with it but never will be and I'm getting bored of walking so decided too crack on. An average amount of negative camber Adjustable fpr mounted. Also got the gear linkages hooked up. Power steering pipes all Hooked up. Got to get the gauges working. Wire it all up. Get a new battery. And couple of other things. Need an exhaust too as its just a decat pipe at the minute and the mot man might not like that lol
  20. Got more painting done today. Also been messing around with some phot software. The SLS paint was too complex as it was three stage. So went for Vw/Audi missano red. Looking good. Just need to add the high gloss laquer on Wednesday morning.
