  1. oh yeah and those of you who aren't registered and don't use the above mentioned forum wont be able to view... so don't slag it off...got it?? Lol! Editions fault.
  2. You sure you have spark then? If you have spark and fuel then it should start lol check your earths.
  3. If you have moved the battery, have you connected all the earths back up properly? I did this and had to earth the starter to the chassis myself
  4. Haha yeah fight the power.
  5. Might have to go to edition 38 this yeah instead of the pod
  6. as long as those nasty traits stays firmly on that forum I'm happy.... Haha I might start being a bitch and blame it on edition! Hehe I always do!! Some bring it over already!! Lol!

  8. I don't think it's too bad. I never really post on there though as most people are argumentative wa**ers. There is a bit of good info though and the for sale section usually has some good bits floating around, especially wheels and interior. But definitely prefer it on here as people are much more friendly and helpful!
  9. I will be there in the mk2 hopefully! Need to hurry up though and get it sorted. If not be in the mk6
  10. Depends on how bad the split is around the bottom. Should be able too if it's not too bad. Otherwise it's a new hose
  11. We haven't had a lot in Manchester but I hope it stops as I'm driving to Edinburgh on Sunday night
  12. I'm afraid I have to go with the above. I have a vrt and it's not cheap. Especially if you want reliability which means no Chinese eBay stuff. If your only aiming for 250, buy some cams and a charger. Much easier, more reliable and much easier to install.
  13. More updates.. Finally decided to brave te cold weather. No more coolant bottle! I also got this for free off an old member on here who didn't need it anymore.
  14. I have seen these but going for 16's as 17's are a bit too big on a mk2, otherwise I would as I'm spending about that on a new set anyway! Might go for 8's in rear and 7.5 on fronts.
  15. Haha missed this bit out... What width wheels are you running and what can I run with it still being practical?
  16. This will be going on my mk2 before I start. Hiya guys, I am looking at some new wheels. I have been looking at 7.5/8 upfront and either 8.5/9 wide at the back. I don't think I will be running arch trims. If needs be I have some to put on. But... And here is the but, it's going on my vrt and will be giving it some beans most days.
  17. No most new cars than the mk3 including audis Vw skoda etc use the same calipers as that. They are much more reliable than the mk3 ones and do not seize as much . Depending on how big you wanted to go, you could buy after market such as ap racin or brembo. But the mk4 ones are fine for most applications. I have a set on mine.
  18. Is it bonded or just rubber seal?
  19. yeah course you can mate ...... Nice one may stay over one night but will keep you posted..
