  1. Be prepared for 16 years of dirt too fall out. Lol
  2. If you were doing it then do it properly and don't get the cheaper eBay ones. The crank pulley needs too be balanced. I'm not being argumentative but surely if they are much lighter then the engine would rev more freely?
  3. im going from manchester lol really looking forward too this day
  4. I'm 24. My mk2 vr6 turbo all mods declared, £1200. My standard mk3 vr6 with no mods at all, they wanted 2k. Figure that out.
  5. No it doesn't matter that its not there from standard. But you will have too buy the switch and loom. They go for a good amount of money these days.
  6. Pay day today Then tomorrow I'm driving to Suffolk for my race. Staying over for the race on Sunday then dring back Sunday night to a rainy Manchester...
  7. Hiya mate, welcome to the club. First of all you will need some seats, lol, you also need the switch and loom. The switch goes on the left side of your clocks. I would take your seats out and check for the heated elements and the plugs. Then all you do is run the loom from the switch to the seats under the carpets. It's that easy!
  8. I would earth it to earthing point. Like you say 12 is blanked off and 14 is for corrados after 94. That's what I would do anyway.
  9. But in theory you shouldn't pop a hose? As it makes the cooling system run at about 4psi. So a lot less stress on the hoses and water pumps etc. I'm sure if you took a really big breath you could blow harder than 4 psi... Lol
  10. Not seen this before but had a good look on their website and it seems pretty good! The science behind it seems too back it up. Might try it myself!
  11. Just last week I burned my hand on the manifold. After it had been running hard. Turbo was glowing and I went to re-adjust a boost pipe and them bam! A lot of swearing...
  12. Haha well your very welcome to them! And thanks not been able to do much with the weather...
  13. Haha they looked horrific. Crapy wolfsburg crap.
  14. Got some g60 arches for the mk2. Brand new genuine from heritage.
  15. Hope I can get the mk2 for this. Otherwise I will be the slowest there. Not one mod...
  16. Long over due update. Mk3 is cleaned and serviced with brakes and tyres all around. Artistic picture. Changed the horrific door pins from this To this Anyway the mk2.... Strut brace is something we tried to sort for ud but couldn't get it sorted intime. It's been welded up at one end, with a top fill at other end. Coolant expansion tank as the top fill wasn't working for me. Just need to sort out hoses now as the heater is going too. Thanks.
  17. Basically t cut and srp do the same thing. Most detailers/enthusiasts don't like tcut as its not a proper fix. The difference is that tcut is the colour you pick which is why it looks so good whereas srp is white so doesn't fill in so much. But it does last long as you can put polish then wax over the top. You will find that it won't take very well on the tcut. If that makes sense lol. Just rambled a bit. You would be better doing the srp then a polish then a wax. Better shine and last much longer. If you take your time with the first step then the second and third will come out much better
  18. Seeing as though the weather is mint! Thought I would see what everyone else has gotten up to. I went for a walk around kinder then come back to work on the mk2. Happy days!
  19. That looks good! Want some tips though?
