  1. Sounds nice, I have the CL spec rear screen plan for mine one day as I have holes left from the spoiler too.
  2. Been watching the new series and its alright so far, but one thin has stood out for me, Mike Brewer kissed his dad on the lips, twice. Weeeeeeeeiiiiiird
  3. Well whatever the make its wrong, inspect the filter before you leave when you get the other one, it should have the bigger hole and have a ring of plastic around it that will snap into the black filter housing cap
  4. Lots of places also label them as heat exchangers, as that's what they do, exchange heat from coolant to oil and vice versa
  5. That's the wrong filter, if getting hengst you need E1001H not E300H. The hole on the later one is 40mm the one you have will be 23.5mm There is only one fuel filter for a VR6, if that's hengst too it should be H80WK07
  6. Bloody hell that's high isn't it? I run my 17s at 34, I had mine at 36 but found that the cornering is much better at 34
  7. If you want to see how I did it look on page 6 of my thread
  8. You can either retrim with something fancy like suede effect etc using high strength glue with a bit of work or dye the original material very easily on the liner with great result
  9. Are they APs? Nothing wrong with them if they are I've had mine for years and still think they're great. Now you're gonna tell me they aren't lol.
  10. £7 a bottle is normal. I mentioned earlier that they come in 1.5L bottles and that G13 just supersedes G12++ and is mostly just according to if they have any overstock left.
  11. You won't find a black roof lining they never made them, you have to DIY it.
  12. Funnily enough I just changed its record position on my sky as I got a conflict, 1pm on Wednesday on Discovery HD
  13. http://www.vr6oc.com/forum/topic/41353-new-vr6-engine/
  14. Morgan was pretty interesting, Porsche was a tad boring.
  15. If you're happy it says G12++ then use that, after reading the comments about it sludging when mixed with genuine stuff I wouldn't mix it. Any VAG dealer (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, even Lamborghini) will sell the proper stuff.
  16. Even from the dealer bushes aren't an expensive item, I'd go for VW if it was me, as said buy shite buy twice and getting the old ones out and new ones in will be a bit of work so you only want to do it once lol If you call TPS, they are "supposed" to be trade only but some are more amenable, see if they would do a trade cash sale with you, you'd have to go down to them though, they don't deliver to non trade.
  17. True, the mot list says if it has a light for a feature, that feature must be functioning.
  18. On Discovery at 8pm tonight How its made + supercars = nothing better
  19. It depends on where the person that removed the airbag put it, shouldn't be too far away from the column, it a thin yellow plug
  20. You can empty the lines either by removing the fuel pump relay or by unplugging the fuel pump which can be accessed by lifting the boot carpet then removing the black rounded triangular panel. Then start the car and it will suck the fuel out of the line.
  21. Go to B&Q and get some flashing tape, same as dynamat just doesn't have a load of Chip Foose tax on it.
  22. I primed it all the same and it cooked off fine, in hindsight it was probably due to the rest of the thing was spray painted but the lettering I obviously had to do by hand, If the brushed in paint wasn't fully dry when I lacquered over it, it would have trapped the excess moisture under the top coat, then when heated on the engine caused it to blister up in order to escape.
  23. I will add to what I said about lacquer, the main part of the cover that is flat is fine and there has been no problem there, the problem has come from the lettering and emblem that are sunk in, these are the places that blistered, upon repeat painting I didn't lacquer it again leaving the lettering just paint. The blistering problem hasn't re occurred.
