  3. It will likely be the O rings. There's a front and back so do both.
  4. Ha they're in the big tool box, but not something I use often actually. Only to persuade old or seized parts.
  5. I meant from the clocks themselves, if you can hear that then they lost all power, then you could be looking for a break in a connection somewhere.

  8. When the dash came back on did you hear it make a sound like a buzzing or whir or anything when you turned the key to accessory?

  11. You get this all the time with these style plug connectors, they end up only releasing one side.
  12. Where's gaffer tape and grinder? Those with a drill hammer and cable ties you can fix anything!
  13. A rubber block, some WD40 and various grades of sandpaper cost nowhere near as much as a drill and a sanding kit.
  14. A sanding block for a start. Otherwise you'll have ridges, never finger sand.
  15. I think I'd just get a new plastic one every 100k or so, surely that could warp too.

  17. As said that's personal, if you want more noise remove it.
  18. You should be able to pry the metal spring off the clip with a screwdriver, it should then come striaght off, then put the spring clip back on when refitting.
  19. It twists off, but its really stiff so you have to really grip it and really twist it, I thought mine was going to break first time I did it.

  21. IIRC the earth on the head is at the back underneath the plastic trim that the ht leads route along
  22. I found the same thing on mine it looked like it could do a million plus. It could more be the bolt than the rail as the bolt keeps the tension, so if its loose its gonna cause rattling.
