  8. lekker dude, when you putting the new engine in?
  9. The ECU number matters to them because there are a few variations of engines, each of which have differently structured ECU's. They can only cater for 1 type. They wont say that they dont have a kit to fit RHD, Ask who ever you are talking to (Chris Collier?) to categorically answer the question yes or no. Yup its Chris l am speaking to, I will ask him yes or no when l am home. Again cheers bud
  10. uh right if you are trying to take the arm with ball joint still in off the car and you just need to dislodge it from its seat, you just need a ball joint press l think they are called, cost about £5 for a cheap one for helfrauds
  11. If it is anything like an old beetle you will need like a 1 tonne press to get it out and in, if you are replacing it?
  12. Uh right cheers for that bud Although l must admit l am slightly confused now, if they don’t have a kit to fit, why not say so lol I am answering a few questions at the mo. I sent a message asking if the kit would fit and so far I have been asked if it is AWD or FWD, if it is coil on plug or coilpack and what is the ECU number. Why does the ECU number matter? Just out of interest
  13. yup wouldnt mind one myself lol I have also sent a message to C2 to see if their kits fit RHD, just waiting to hear back as they are much cheaper for stage 1 at about £2.5k.
  14. Yes they do seem to be more pricey for the 24v not sure why lol these guys do kits for the 4mo http://www.vr6specialist.nl/tuning/?t=en&p=tun11&id=1161950783&filter=7&pn=2 also stealth were going to start work on a 24v kit but l havent heard anything on it for a while so not sure.
  15. Do you mean easier to get a turbo kit for the 12V then the 24V?
  16. I will be heading up at sparrows fart on Saturday, as l cant make it on Friday
