  1. We had a great weekend at our 1st ultimate dubs, Really good to meet some more members and enjoy a few beers lol, will try upload some selected pics in the next few days from the 100's taken
  2. I did mine yesterday and was hoping to drive the mk1 to work instead but couldn't get it started this morning so had to take the vr, Hope my efforts ain't wasted lol

Well today Didnt go as smooth as i hoped..nothing major tho, Managed to pick up a mint boot carpet from a local breakers this morning which was good, Cracked on with cleaning it inside and out, Jetex pipe arrive whilst doing this only to find out the centre pipe will only it a jetex system.... plan foiled so looks like i may order a new system in the coming weeks.. Literally 5mins later the local garage contacted me to say they were short staffed and couldnt fit me in this aft anymore for the brakes and bearings fitting as previously arranged... So now debating doing this tomorrow eve after w

Well it says just over 5 hours from here so hopng to leave between 5 and 6 and stop for breakfast en route' date=' Want to be up there fairly early to get it cleaned up etc then hit a few local pubs/bars ( [/quote'] the last couple of times we did ud,s, spent around 6 / 7 hours cleaning and polishing when we got there, be ready for a long busy day lol. good luck and enjoy the experience ps know when to walk away lol.. Cheers Martin, maybe a drive thru cleaning service in Gloucester would be a good pit stop

Ordered a jetex centre pipe today to remove the middle box and complement the rest of the system, Hopefully this will arrive tomorrow and i can fit it on my day off Thursday, I have also held off fitting the new rear discs/pads until Thurs as i have been cleaning the Arches, brake lines etc and its looking pretty fresh under there, Also some final height adjustments as i got a bit excited lowering the rear initially. Then the last few jobs and lots of cleaning prior to Saturday

Hi ALL, Driving back from work this eve the gearbox seemed to go very loose when selecting gear the a couple of junctions later i couldnt select anything, Popped the bonnet and when looking down at the linkage by the weighted arm theres a cable with a rubber bush with a bolt through it that had become unattached from the sleeve, Pressed it back in and made it back and able to select gears again, Has some sort of clip broken from this for this to happen or may the rubber have worn over the years and need a new one? couldnt get pics as it was dark but any help appreciated
  10. Back on, I decided to try keep it fairly simple as it left the factory, Oem+ as some would say, Happy that underneath the plastic was good condition tho

  12. They have done a really good job m8, very happy with it, The bodyshop took some photos during and after so once i receive them i will pop them up
  13. Liking the colour choice on the wheels, Im Very interested on how the roof turns out
