  1. Picked up some poorboys and autoglym products up at the Autosport show this weekend, Think i now have enough detailing products to last me the year. Also been wanting one of these for a while...Original Golf VR6 dealer brochure, Now time to crack on and get the car ready for Dubfreeze and Ultimate dubs,
  2. Just thought id share a few pictures from this years Autosport show, Was a great show seemed alot bigger than previous years with the highlights being the Live action arena and The Caterham driving experience, Only £10 for a passenger ride being thrown around an indoor circuit with lots of drifting and donuts thrown in,

  8. Hi all, Im waiting to fit a pair of genuine vw rear discs/pads and bearings and wanted to source a pair of new rear brake shields, Does anybody have the part number for these or know where i can get these from other than vw? Thanks in advance
  9. Thanks for the comments guys, Still trying to decide whether to leave the plastic arches on or off and go with smooth side strips and highline bumpers but worried it will lose its character of one of the earliest models if i do this.. Either way i need to decide before it goes for paint, Whats peoples thoughts on this? arches on or off?
  10. Well Decided to de-sticker the car, Changed the debadged grill to the oe grill with chrome badges now, Bit of a detail today, Still waiting to drop it at a local bodyshop for a few bits and new coilovers are getting picked up tommorow to solve the height setup on the front and rear. Heres a few pics from today...
  11. I know its a bit early but whos up for this? Website has just gone live for booking, Should be a good one. http://www.vwaction.com/vwactionsw/tickets.php
  12. Im running 30mm adaptors on the front and 35mm adaptors on the rear with an added 3mm shim, I cant fault the handling at all it drives superb, The silver roses are quite a bit lighter than d90's anyway which may help but combined with new falken ze912 tyres, new wishbones, bushes and set up the alignment it has totally tranformed the way it handles
  13. Well i managed to get a few pics in the daylight en route to work this morn, So excuse the dirty state its currently in, As i previously said the whole car needs coming down a bit more, Let me know what you think
  14. looking real good mate, might have to pop over to see this in the flesh
  15. Just a quick pic of mine parked next to my mates v5, Both showing quite a bit of poke at the moment, Hoping to bring mine down a little more soon..awaiting a sump gaurd to be fabricated first Will upload some better pics later today of how the wheels look on the car
  16. Wheels now fitted, Took it to check the alignment today and had it adjusted, Now drives awesome and love the stance it has, The 9's on the rear fit perfect with no scrubbage running the 215/35's falkens, The grip in wet conditions is very good. Will post some pics over the weekend with the new setup,
  17. Mr postman today brought me my shiny new rear badges to replace the old faded ones,
