  5. Thinking of fitting new chains and guides to my engine whilst its out and prior to fitting for peace of mind, Has anyone got the required part numbers for the parts needed to do this and also where is the best place to pick them up? My local TPS isnt very local and they wont deal with the general public direct, ideally i want to stick with original parts aswel so if anybody can help me out? Thanks in advance
  6. Hi Guys, Being in the process of converting to 3.2 im now looking at gearbox options, Has anybody got any advice/info to what would be best suited to this engine without going too mad, wasnt sure if to stick with the vr box or swap for the o2m as i see united motorsport sell the mount and conversion plate etc, need to get one sorted pretty soon
  7. Awesome work mate, did you encounter any problems removing the abs? I was hoping to ditch it on mine when I start smoothing the bay
  8. Today i started stripping the engine down to a bare block, all hoses off, inlet manifold off, alternator, oil cooler, oil filter housing, thermostat housing, crack pipe, air con compressor etc etc and this is what i was left with. Inlet manifold getting prepped ready for primer, need some finer grit paper to get some fine scratches out before it gets a full coat of primer. Whilst i was doing all this in the other corner of our barn my mate was working on his vr, Then started cleaning the block up, happy with how its scrubbing up at the moment
  9. Thanks Helen, really happy with the plate. Hopefully luck will be on my side but just going to take my time with this and get it exactly how i want it
