    Hi all, i have recentley put a deposit down on a 1992 vr6, can somebody advise me if a car of this year originally came with a beesting aerial as astandard or would it have been on the front wing as most 8v gti's? This car has a beesting but also has a original vw aerial bung on the front wing too so could this be correct or could it be its had a replacement wing at some point? thanks

    It is a 1995 model so thats an obd1 right?

    Cheers guys, i was initially thinking the maf but didnt think it would lose nearly all power if that was at fault? i noticed jimmy on ebay as well as coilpack your also selling maf and cam sensor? I'd rather replace these items before swapping the engine as the previous owner wanted to do?

    Im unsure mate im yet to see under the bonnet as yet, just getting an idea of what it may be or just get a collection of parts together to replace, would the coilpack cause that problem then?

    Hi all, im looking to purchase a 2nd vr6 thats in need of repair, the car starts fine but on tickover its very lumpy and not sounding healthy at all, apparently the car wont go any faster than 15mph so total loss of power, any rough ideas what this may be any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks for the advice, i had my suspicions that it mite not have been correctly aligned too, do u know if its a big job as i fancy having a go at it myself.

    hi there, having just got my first vr6 i was aware from the previous owner of a clutch problem, he personally fitted a new clutch kit (receipts to prove) and a problem occured, when in neutral there is a loud rattling sound, when you start to depress the clutch it goes away until the pedal nearly hits the floor then it feels thru the pedal as if something is catching and pushing the pedal back slightly, any ideas or help much appreciated.
