vr`s are so heavy, i personally think they look a bit weak. i would save for a decent set with a bit more beef on them. and drop around 50-60mm

cant get the air out of the brake system, have bled all 4 corners three times, trying to sort today , its killing me that after fully re building the engine, i cant drive due to no brakes -

thanks Ben, i cant wait for the 500 miles to go, i need boooost . thanks for the pic resize too (again) it is very satisfying not paying a mechanic to do the work, and if i get into the 12`s it will be down to me and my pal.

finally at last,the car is back together,its been very hard to do,not having any experience,but the first drive made it all worth it. the intention was to replace broken piston rings but it turned out to be a full rebuild with brand new shiny wossner forged turbo pistons,matched with the h-beam rods they have transformed the feel of the engine,it gives such a strong pull with no fuss,no boost and only to 4000rpm (being good and letting pistons bed in and not going over 4k ). it feels really tight and strong, im leaving the bhp at 299 (low setting) for at least 500 miles,but its killing me not

problems with getting car started, just wires in wrong place i hope,but alone on rebuild and no real idea what im doing, so after totally stripping then rebuilding with new pistons i am left flumoxed by wiring, i have power to dash but no fuel pump power or cranking on key so will have to say no to this one, was going to do a crazy 500 miles to bed pistons in to be there saturday,but it looks like it could be a while as i have no clues as to what i did wrong and have run out of money to pay someone.so it may be a while til i see you all again. good luck saturday. and not over 400 please jim -
