  1. oh and as for handling, dont worry bout it, they will be too far behind to bother you in corners. :)but there are loads of struts and braces that can sort the handling, wide wheels and good suspension , poly bushes n mounts all combined go to make a sorted car. on a sensible note GOOD BRAKES are not to be skimped on, no point to it if you cant stop.
  2. mapping, and size of housing has a lot to do with where the boost comes in . in car boost controllers are a big help, allowing changes to suit your needs (track / wet road) . good tyres as Kev said is a must. off the line,if racing a powerfull car,you will get pinged but bring 3rd gear into play and even if its a big merc, lambo, bmw m class or tuned ricer, you are flying by them hard, into 4th and their allready done, but keep going in 4th just to make clear. YOU HAVE BEEN VR TURBO`D go for it fella, you will never regret it. going from 120-150mph as fast a a standard vr does 50-70mph , and y

  8. quaife, peloquin (which i use) or there is a cheaper one from usa called obx , its the vr6 obxr , they have them on ebay for around £299, not saying good or bad but i ran 440bhp through it and the gears broke and the obx was fine and sold on. i got a strenghtened box with a peloquin fitted since and thats fine too.
  9. got just over 100 miles of the 1000 run in miles done. it had a new block when first built ,which was just over a year ago, then the pistons broke and i re built the engine with new woosner forged turbo pistons , had a bit of trouble but got there in the end. now it really does feel like a brand new engine, strong and tight. just another 900 miles to go before taking to storm to get re mapped, its running a bit too much fuel at present, which is nice to know as ive got 900 miles of super expensive running in to come task now is to get all done and ready for spring gti and the ring trip.

But you need a way of clearing the rear screen as it wont be heated [/quote'] how are you going about it ? clearing that is. You might think Im mental but im going to fit one of these in the boot and bin all the vw air box blowers vents ducks matrix ect that weights around 13kg. This unit only weights 3 kg and moves the weight to the back of the car. then ill direct some of the air flow over the rear screen. They
