  4. For those of you that dont know, i lost my beautiful 51 year old mum to cancer in september 2009, the one last thing she asked me and my sister to do was to run the Race for Life in her honour. I completed it last year and raised £506... and this is what i would like to do again this year... basically its a 5k run, all women entering.. i plan on starting my training after the weekend so should be fighting fit by then and will jog the whole way... even if i have to drag my sister round, we did half walking and half jogging last year, but this year i want to do one step better! I have set up
  5. Yeah, 5 min job, its pretty self explainatory, but take the plastic off the inside of the boot door, then remove the plug and water pipe that goes to the motor, there is a couple of screws holding the motor on, remove those and you can take the motor out, then put a screw in the end of the water pipe and remember not to try and use it!! Then stick in the bung n job done! :)

    Fuel freeze

signed but i agree, should go down and not be frozen. £1 would be nice!
  11. With regards to the MAF it goes from top left: Time engine has been running How many miles you have done what your average speed is Bottom left to right: Miles Per Galon Oil Temperature Outside temperature
  12. I bought a mk2 golf cl for 500 quid... costs £20 a month to insure.... £20 a month average for tax.... so it costs me £40 a month to run it... The saving on fuel per month from using the mk2 instead of the vr is £70. so im £30 a month better off and i dont have to worry about running the vr is nasty conditions and stacking up the miles Def worth it as the mk2 is now for sale for £1000 so i will end up making a profit.
  13. or get a diesel. Then you can treat the vr as what it is... a fun car to enjoy at weekends!

    VR6 v G40

yeah but if we're talking standard then it would be a very close call, as bungy said, partly down to driver ability and partly down to how well maintained they have been but there wouldnt be much in it.... someone needs to give it a go!!

    VR6 v G40

The 0-60 on a G40 is 8.1 0 - 60 on the VR6 is 7.6 The OBD2s are slightly quicker but no official figure. Would be a close race. Depends on how well they have been serviced and maintained, but would be close on 0-60, anything over that i think the vr would pull away...
  16. i love how its got the same lights & wheels and he's even matched the side repeaters and put an ariel on... its the attention to detail that makes it look awesome!
