  1. no it is doing exactly as is should if iy stays on there is a fault maybe you need to bleed or uprate your pads discs

  3. if you are on about the 1 peice upper part of the sill trim VW as most second hand ones will be starting to suffer from rust bubbles about £30 ish each

  6. you need i spacer plate and 1 genuine vw headgasket which is 3 layer drill the rivets out then use the 2 outer parts either side of the spacer plate
  7. what size is your maf are you getting enough air in may be overfuelling
  8. sounds like tosh the lambda is precat anyway so what difference would there be. maybe less back pressure

  10. i think the adjuster for the other end of the cable is on the side of the heater box by your left ankle you could adjust it manually for now

  14. yep gearbox differs makes it immpossible to fit off the shelf brace
  15. 8.5 to 1 spacers are 2mm thick and you can get them cheaper and thicker for lower compression ratio for nearly half the price of mine which was purchased in the UK for £100 but i dont know what the quality is like on German Ebay

  17. try reading the handbook it should tell you what the symbols are for
  18. in conjunction with a lightweight flywheel they do make a bit of a difference the engine spins more freely as it has less rotational mass
  19. if you are going to take it off you might as well replace it
