  1. If it goes to the insurance they will just write it off. We have considered this and try to keep it to sell as a repair or scrapper ourselves. There is no obvious signs of anything when it's up on the ramp.
  2. When you have the wheels straight it look fine but with the wheel turned to the left the off side wheel is at a funny angle. There is signs of rubbing on both sides around the bottom of the spring on the piece that supports the spring (dont know the name for that bit)
  3. One of my mates has managed to knacker the front end of his car. The handbrake gave up as he was loading his kid in the car, he managed to slow it down as it rolled down his drive but the front off-side wheel struck the gate post. Ever since this there is something seriously wrong with the car. The steering wheel is about a quater turn to the right as you drive in a straight line but more worrying as you turn to the left it tries to snap the wheel out of your hands. He has taken it to a National Tyres (best he could do as he was on a 12 hour shift) and they had it up on the ramp and could find
  4. It is only reading 1 MAF flow but is showing 2 fuel system faults but both are the same as above
  5. Hi all, friend at the work has a VR6 which is showing a Fault on fuel sys1 and 2 The error they are showing is "CL, Faulty HO2S" on both ( I bought a code reader off ebay) How many Sensors does the VR6 have 1 or 2. 18. So if you have all spent so much money can anyone tell me if the knocking I am getting is the engine mount on the gear box side. I've changed the steering rack, track rod end, and drop link. I've checked the bottom ball joint and it's fine but I still get a knocking at low and moderate speed but it seems to go on the power. The mount needs changing caus it's been leaking for a bit now, I hope to get it done when I do the chains. Also If I buy uprated ones do I need to do all 3. God I hope she goes good after this it is getting expensive
  19. I bought my first VR6 after I split with my wife. Got my current one when I was on a split from my current GF definatly a trend here.
  20. So are you all cheating with traction control?
  21. Yep was meaning the exalto's. Sorry Vento are you meaning the exalto's are better. Not too worried about the difference in price but I do want good grip dry and wet. Have exalto on the front and snowprox or similar on the back at the min as thats what the car had on it. The back steps out before the front is even thinking about it need to change the front soon so Im going to do all 4.
