  1. If you want the best for your car use Shell V fuel!
  2. If it kept up with you it cud of bin an R32, when i raced one driving that car it was almoist identical dont forget your engine is over 210 bhp, Matth76 is rite you will do any standard Gti!
  3. I was there yesterday...they told me of the MK2 R32 with one super charger hitting 600bhp..but was introducing another to make it 2...all in the name of development...i love it !! The have a Mk5 engine TOP and a MK4 Bottom to run in one car.. (6) Thats the plan for my syncro putting a second charger on, as an when i can afford it, the enigine has been built specifically to take it which should get me above 500 bhp. Their mk2 R32 is awesome!

    Roll Cage

I'm lookin into gettin a show cage, any prices yet?
  5. Storm are fast becoming the new VW kings down south, Stealth is a bit far for us on the south coast and i know a few guys on here that use Storm, they really know what they're doing and Andy the boss is a great guy always willing to help! I find him more knowledgable than Vince at Stealth, sorry Vince! They have got some awesome cars in there garage including my hopefully soon to be Syncro 3ltr 415bhp VR6!! Watch this space lol...
  6. Whats bizarre about that??? Best pull aways i used to get mate were handbrake up holding it with button in. Pick the revs up to about 3k (this matches the weight of the car) lift the clutch to biting point so the car is pulling at the handbrake then let go of the handbrake feeding in accelerator not all at once and pulling off clutch quite quickly. No good for ya clutch mind but when you have an Evo or M3 next to ya givin it large a mans got a do what a mans gotta do lol!!! Much easier to do then type m8. But i could launch the car accross the junction like a rocket if i got it right. Practis
  7. Its not really, my mate has fried the pistons using too much NOS lol (which i knew about) and we've agreed a price for the car with the engine fixed/replaced and all running. Two options we have my m8 said he can source a second hand engine (88000 miles) which he'll pay for and have fitted or i have another choice for me to buy a virtually brand spanking new engine 2.8 VR6 (400 miles) bored out to 3ltrs with port polished head, one piece valves, forged pistons lightened con rods and crank, lightened balanced flywheel racing spec clutch, lower compression head gasket, ARP head bolts, new chain
  8. R u bored of my car already lol?? Buy a syncro like i am and get used to driving a left hooker, you learnt to drive a RHD how hard can it be? Doin the above is just not worth the money by the time you spent thousands you cud of bought a V6 4mtoion which is better than a syncro even a RHD syncro. In my opinion there's really not a lot of point havin 4wd if you havent got the power, supercharge it see how it goes then think about it again.
  9. make sure you keep the pressure high by checkin em regularly, i wud say 40 psi wud be about right maybe slightly higher
  10. wudnt know 4mobora without looking, did you get it sorted? VW action is August 31st, its at Santa Pod off the M1
  11. Yeah theres talk of goin e38 on sunday morning after camping at VW action. I'm up for it as long as the cars all sorted.
  12. i knew this guy who had a golf 4mo with a supcharger on it, that was quick very quick, probably quicker than a VR or Syncro thanks to the haldex system.
