    Do me a favour.. As soon as this problem happens, switch off, Unplug the MAF, start drive for around 15min, and see if problem persists.. As this jerk has happened to my mates mk2 VR, Cause of problem was MAF.

    Vince at Stealth, or United Motorsports mate. Vince checks everything runs fine, then maps. United you can go to them, they will map or you send ECU to them. Up to you, both whom I trust!

    ICV all situated in Throttle body mate. Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with throttle. Disconnect you MAF, and then start car. Will be a tad lumpy at first till ECU reads that MAF is off. See if it idles ok then.

    I used power and earth from the rear demister switch, as I found this the best alternative rather than Fuse box. Currently running Psi gauge, Battery, Oil Pressure.

    The meet will take place at the normal spot BIRCHEN GROVE NW9 8RY MONDAY Sept 5th. Port Royal will be dishing us up with there Jerk and curry goat. Just off Blackbird Hill. Situated between Neasden/Wembley. At the end of Birchen Grove turn right through the height restriction then turn right at the end into the car park. (try not to hit the post on the way in) Time- from 7pm till you all clear off The meet is designed for us to enjoy and compare our vehicles, see what’s been done, get knowledge and more understanding, ideas and more importantly for us all to socialise!
