    Apparently on the mk3,the transponder goes on them,its like a little switch in the ignition Barrel....Check that..

    RCF, i agree dude,get them both,try and clean out your throttle body at the same time.....

    £10 for Coilpack £75 for leads. Do it ya self, but when doin the Ht leads,make sure its slotted back into the plug PROPERLY, Vr's are tricky when puttin lead back to plug...Koni coilovers nice ride...

    Change the coilpack dude, I just changed mine, NUFF missfiring on gears 1&2, burnt out plug2,couldn't work out this problem,had it for a few months,miss firin would come and go,changed everything,(HT leads and plugs) it turned out to be the CoilPack...!!! Fitted Beirut Pack inn....Cost me £120...15 min job to change,4 alen key bolts...Minor,make sure u number the leads!!

    All sorted thank god,seems like no2 ht lead was not in rite,changed over plug 1&2...seems thers a likle more usage on no2 plug compared to no 1....have to investigate into that,Plus the guy that sorted the problem said that it could be the coil pack 75% on the way out...!!Thanks all for all your responses...much appreciated!

    Hey peeps,can anyone help,got a bit of a flatspot on me VR,1st and 2nd gear,if i put foot straight down on those gears,it struggles at first,then kicks in,if i take off real slow,then its normal!!!WTF!!!Help!!!,changed the HT leads,gone fractionally worse,could it be the coilpack?Help somebody,im down by Nw london,if anybody had this problem and solved it,please give me a call and let me know please!!!07732817870!!!!As it sxmas i know peeps are busy,but me need me Vr on the road too,xmas pressies to deliver to nieces and nephews!!!!HELP!!!

    Mine didnt work for a while neither until I changed the relays under the seat,get the original relays from VW.

    Its piss easy dude, hammer the bearing caps a little so the caps sit inn nicely, with your arches i suggest you roll them, tyre size would be 205/40/17 84r... got these wheels on my ride and the mrs ColourConcept
