dont rate green stuff either, they are not up to much. Just installed some ferodo DS3000's and o my lord do these puppies work well!! down side is massive amounts of brake dust! but that doesnt bother me!
Clio williams are top motors. My old one managed a 14.0 1/4 with Just breathing mods + remap and a good strip. Probably quicker then my corrado vr up to say 100, but thats when the vr comes into its own. It used to hit the limiter in 5th @ 130 and anything above 90 was a little noisy and uncomfortable. Great fun little car though. few vids of her (not me new owner) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yLNHqP5PQk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBm0IZxZUFQ&feature=related
port match the lower to the upper manifold. u can also tidy up the lower to hear side but dont open it up to much. matched mine, whether it makes any real difference is hard to say.
WIth regards to "drilled" holes the top end decent discs have the holes already cast into the disc. Drilling a disc after manufacture is not ideal due to the already mentioned cracking. Having said that I have run drilled discs on prev cars and they were fine.
If your going turbo then I'd deff recomend fitting one along with a 70°C thermostat. As for oil try silkolene Pro S 10w50 great stuff. Get if from OPIE oils as you get a discount.
On my old MkIv GTI I ran 19's with a hefty drop, it looked A1, However the ride was crap to say the least. After that I swaped to 17 santa monicas, the ride was loads better. If I were to do it again i'd look for a set of 18's.
