lol, i also fitted the arp head studs wrong , the first time.. its a easy mistake.. -
well, ive installed the 4 " maf.. putting in some redtops tommorrow, then end of march ill give c2 a ring for chip. hopefully before i go to the ring.

well, im half way there now..just recieved my 4" maf housing.. probaly gonna go c2 in another few months.. just need to get the ring trip out if the way..

as above, anyone used it.. ihad one before but never got round to fitting it to my then mk216v. im looking for options on my vr6 turbo.. know i no, there is c2,stealth , storm and a few others doing bespoke chips.. but at the price i can get a built squirt unit, its starting to look attractive. im after fuel and spark adjustment.. so if anyones running one, give us a rundown, of any encountered problems.. and a rough cost that you incured.. the beauty of the squirt and other standalones is that i can save money by mapping the unit myslef, and its future proof with regards to other mods.. jim

should be good for this coming weekend ben... should take around 2 hours.. i have got it down to a fgine art now.. be sure to by some new top mounts, as it isnt good pratice to reuse the old ones.

very nice.. was t hard to mount the gauges.. or did you just slot it in the radio hole.. i was toying with covering up the gap, ala mk1 gti, and sticking the radio back in its orig place.. but im waiting to order my new gauges.. im going for the analog ones not the digi units..i think..

yep, good tyres..and a sensible turbo, that dont spool at 2000 rpms.. oh and a right foot without lead in it -

ben , pics would be great.. xyber, yep i agree with you about the needle, but i want function and a clear view , so im still waying towards the digital gauges.. aparently these are the same company that make the prosport gauges, that alot of the scooby boys use.
