Just thought i would keep you all updated on my hunt for the rotrex kit. Contacted storm as you know and have now decided not to go with them. The good news is, i also contacted r-techs in denmark again, telling them of my worries with storm.They were very helpfull and are willing to supply me with the kit direct . E-mail below Hi Andrew I'm sorry to hear about our dealer in the UK is not upliving their standards as we require them to be. Some more info on the rotrex from a company called storm developements in reading uk . Hi Andrew, We have just completed our stage 3 kit yesterday, it makes 415 bhp this will be our final kit we will be developing for the vr6 - as we are hitting the limits of a standard engine. We have not defined a price for this yet - but we supply a huge amount of extra parts compared to r-tech, also you will have to lower your compression. Apparently mercedes use eaton superchargers which on the face of it look a good idea but only seem to give increases of between 30-40% more power. Could`nt be bothered reading in depth so you might want to have a look yourself jim. virgin

Just to throw something else into the mix you also have a supercharger called rotrex which can yield power up to around 500bhp now thats also something worth considering. For that kind of power though i think i would stick to a supercharger as they seem to deliver power much smoother . Another thing is that i dont think you can upgrade the series b kit all the way up to stage 6 better going for stage 1 of eip`s turbo kit if you want to go down the turbo road and get lots more crazy power. I`m afraid power gains dont come that cheap for the vr a big valve head ported and polished would give you some more bhp but probably better going forced induction route aswell. virgin
