  1. The rsd kit comes with a thermostat so the oil flows trough the cooler when hot, but does not close all the way when going for a short drive (keeping the oil flowing). Warmup to 80C takes maybe 4 min more with the cooler.
  2. I have mounted mine in the grill so it gets direct airflow. Im running 1 bar and after 25 min of hard driving on track my oil is showing 120C ant that was a warm day. I run the RDS 19 row cooler. One problem: when getting the BIG nut off the bolt that runs trough the oil/water heat exchanger ( needs to come apart for mounting the new and longer bolt) you need a BIG wrench to hold the bolt down. I bolted mine to a table with a beefy bolt and managed to get it off after some agression .
  3. Ok, but I have my breatherhose is going out in the atmosphere. . . . could this cause an overfueling problem?
  4. X2 have been looking for the mk4s without angeleyes as well. No luck yet.
  5. you can also change gearboxoil. that is suposed to work slightly.
  6. My vw dealer in Oslo is great. They have the best service and the parts are almost always right. . They are 35+ age and one guy of 65, and he really knows what he is doing.
  7. How many trackdays has the setup seen? Ps: how much better is the 312 setup? Any advise where to get a setup of tt brakes cheap?
  8. so do you guys thing the yellowstuff will hold my vr6t 400 horses along with my pizzadelivery drivingstyle? They are quite good priced so may be giving them a try. Any other hardcore pads?
  9. Ok, I also heard about ferodo ds2500 or ds3000 Anybody heard about them or used them/other pads? Im also skeptical towards buying the yellowstuff they seem so gadgety if u know what i meen!?!?!
  10. I have a vr6t and last year the oem brakes got a beating on the track. I replaced them with zimmermann discs and sparco (cant remember spec) pads. These worked great for 2 trackdays and then they where gone to. So now I have got my hands on tt carriers, calipers, discs and pads. I guess these will work for one trackday as well so what now? What discs and pads will survive the beating ? Where to get them will also be appreciated. I had a rather uncool experience on Mantorp in sweden when my car wouldn't even break hard enough to let the abs kick in. When in 125 that is scary! Thanks .

  12. New fuelpump going in next week along with new mk4 HT leads . And soon Bugrun in Sweden. http://www.bugrun.com/
  13. dont just buy new parts it could be lots of sensors that cause this problem so a vagcom is your best bet.
  14. YOu need this pump. It helps the head to not corrode by eliminating airbubbles in the head and block. Buy one from the link above or similar.
  15. I would go for the magnaflow. It sounds NICE . !
  16. I have never heard of it beeing anything else than the headgasket. . . . . To change it is good anyways .
  17. there is a lot of treads with coilpacks faulting on the vr. Its a standard problem. Search and you will find it. Mine looked good but it had a SMALL crack and this made the engine go nuts. GOt mine here and what a difference: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-GOLF-JETTA-VR6-Ignition-Coil-PACK-Packs-93-94-95-96_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a570Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem1c070948edQQitemZ120377133293QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_1533wt_1197
  18. sorry mate but I would hate to see a vr6 guy end up with something that doesnt work. My advise: dont buy it, buy a used kit or save for a konetic or a charger of some sort (rotex) IT would be to bad if its just junk and you been fooled.
  19. LEt your car get warm and then feel the pipes. THen you know if its cool or warm
