  2. The compressor should have had an air dumpvalve so that it could charge max at lets say 2500 rpms and the overflow of air wouls be released out into atmos.
  3. I think Turbo feels faster aswell, but I would like to say something about turbolag vs the superchargers "non lag" but with the need of high RPMs to get max power. If you choose a small turbo with dual bearings like the gt 3076r it can provide enough air up to 400 hp and will spool up very fast. Some even say that they spool up too early. . . . and they keep trucking all the way up to the redline. IMO the compressor has the biggest lag of all, not being able to deliver max hp before you hit the redline. My slow ass t04e turbo spools up at 3500 and is peeking around 4--4500 rpms. So i have

  7. Sounds like alot of work on the r32 then, and maybe difficult to get roadlegal aswell. Good to know if something should break tough.
  8. No stress:). The ECU can be mapped yes. Its on the forum somewhere how much u can have with the original ECU. Dont need standalone even thoug it has it advantages. If you get an lsd, the grip will get better, but the gearbox will get more beating . . . . . . I get some torque steer, but when its boosting youre going to keep both hands on the weel anyway and then its no problem;). I think you get a quite amount of torque steer with lsd also, but dont know. . . . . .
  9. I see what u mean with the loan, but I wouldnt recomend it because there is so many unforseen problems that may occur. I had my turbokit on the shelf tor TWO years before i had the money to put it on. . . . . . . That was horrible!. I got mine on when i was 22 so guess thats the magic number:).
  10. The bolt is very hard to get loose, so use a new and solid allen key.
  11. The fan sensor is in the radiator on the left side. (looking from inside the car) It might be that. Do you have a bentley manual, they show how to check the sensors often with a voltmeter.
  12. Ive heard that the "magic" line is around 300 Whp. You dont have to do diff, or any other mod. just the chains and cluch. And thats around 9 psi. After that you would have to do a number of mods to get it reliable. If i where you, I would go for some sort of turbokit with a T3 turbo and mapping on rolling road. I have ca 300 Whp and its very fast:).

  14. Its good to know how much its gonna use anyway IMO. I wondered about this aswell. In the end my Vr6T uses just a tad more in citydriving if you stay off boost. BUT if I want to I can empty the tank real fast and practically live at Shell. So if u want good MPG there really isnt a way to acheve this with the vr6, turbo or not.

  19. No I havent felt that, my original mount wasnt that bad. But it felt better when accelerating:) Would have liked to have one of those sqs boxes though. . . .
  20. aprilfools joke right;). Ha ha just kidding. Ive also changed my gearbox mount and that made my box more noisy aswell. But I like it actually. U have the front and the gearbox changed to the vf engineering ones. The thing i notised most was the much more noticable vibration when cranking the engine over.
