  2. With turbo, dont bother on getting an expensive exhaust, just think free flow. . . . . . the less resistance the better performance. . . . . .

  4. jetex is suposed to be good. Most powerincrease and not to much noise, but expensive. Magnaflow is also good. Do a chip from giac with a cam, exhaust and powerfilter and u will get much more and a faster car.
  5. Seems like a product that doesnt work propper. A friend of mine works at an exhaust shop and he says that fitting a shitty system might even get you less hp. There is suposed to be just the right amout of back pressure from the exhaust system if your vr is NA or else you dont use all your fuel
  6. I agree with cabrioman! U need the aux pump. search and u will find the answer to why.
  7. This should be possible . I have seen other 99 vr6 with the r32 mufler on. but the easyest way would be to look behind your bumper to see if there is room. . . . . if there is I guess you just would need to weld some holders for the muflers and cut the bumper. Maybe you could get a quote from a local exhaust shop
  8. Guess i will be the first one! You cant make 700hp with any cam so the autotechs seem to be a good alternative to someone who wants to tune their vrt without spending to much $. I wont be doing a RR without and with, but i will let u know if there is a power increase. I think you are getting maiden wrong kev, he was ONLY saying they´re good alternative, but no he does not have the facts u would prefer.

  10. Plugging? I think im going for the autotechs, I dont need the best of the best on my budget, and the autotechs seem very good according to vwvortex users. If i had the money would buy the schimmels, but im a student. . . . . . . Anybody running something else than theese? What is your camprofile/psi and HP? Thanks

  15. So Ive had my Vr6t for about one year now and of course I want more boost;). Ive been to the tracks three times this season and its great. the car is FAST, but I want some more and a new diff.   20. I have the greddy type S on mine setup as a recirc, and it makes alot of noise.
  21. I have an apexi boost controller so i guess i could try to make the power come in a linear curve rather than explosive. (guess this is the trick) I am going for more boost soon, thinking of using the c2 software with 4" maf 440cc injectors, 9:1 compression, arps all around, a beefy clutch and LSD. But I dont drive like a maniac, and no dragraces for me so I will wait with the gearbox. . . . .
