  1. yes thats true, I hate that. ARGH!!!!!
  2. I like the smooth very much. If i had the chance i would smooth my doors, and bumpers, and handles, and tailgate. If i where to style my vrt that is. But not only the doors without the rest of the car.
  3. Mine is ok in city, and ok on highway. _Just a tad more than without turbo.
  4. I have one question!: Are u running with turbo chip? Sounds like you are running on stock vr6 management. That you shouldnt do! 2500 sounds like ALOT. Better off driving to Holland at the www.vr6specialist.com and get them to fix it. Almost cheaper. What turbokit/ turbo setup do you have?
  5. This could be a whole lot of problems. Should get it on VAGCOM. A friend of mine had this problem, (exept the water and smoke) and it turned out to be the maf having a bad connection. You can also check the vacum for what its worth.
  6. yes i agree, vagcom, you can get it cheap og the bay . . . . .
  7. I asumed you had mapped it:). This is ofcourse a must. (you could just use a chip, but if you are really papanoid about nothing going wrong, then get it mapped.) Thats what I did, and there was some problems that occured that I know I wouldnt be able to notice. . . .
  8. Is your dump valve return or does it dump out into the atmosphere? Mine was atmos and that cased some of the similar problems, but not the one with the stuttering tough.
  9. Nope I am not, dont know why, but there is far more info on this site IMO. MAybe thats why;).
  10. yes they do they look sweet. But I like the colour even more!
  11. Its easy. Check this out http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?219719.0#post_219955
  12. I had a funny problem. I was washing my car the other day, and I left it running, since I didnt want it to gett so foggy. And what happened? It locked itself:). While running, with me on the outside!!!!! I felt very smart. Had to pull up the lock with a steel wire. I actually felt like a thiev breaking into my own car.
  13. He he thats true. And I was about to explain how to take it off:).
  14. Just one tip: try to disconect the maf and see if there is corrosion on the connection. I had this problem and have heard of this problem before. Dont know if the vagcom would say this, but its worth a try.
  15. YES that would have been GREAT:). I hate those diagrams. Its like those OLD math questions: Mary has ten kids, the one In the middle is two years older than the one with the hat. . . . .-etc how many times did the train stop!
  16. No I mean the bentley wiring diagram. Its difficult to understant, I think, but Im getting there:). VW wouldnt give me the specific wiering for the ECU. These are the wiring diagrams I have used:
  17. After looking over the vw vr6 wiring diagram, I think im gonna try to hook it all up, but not until I get the extra courage to start tapping into my ecu. Have sorted out all the colours (i think) now I just have to try and see if they are the right ones. The feature that I think Im gonna use the most is the speed/gear dependent boost setting because i dont have an LSD diff yet. Gonna make a step by step install if I do everything right. . . . .
  18. hmmm csnt get the solenoid pic to work. whatever
