  7. finally got it nearly done! total time will be around 20hrs to get it spot on! the OE breather pipe was broken but as the carbon canister is gone and the vacuum to it from the TB has a check valve now, it was basically pointless, so after staring at peoples pics on here decided to copy a few and put the pipe from the catch can straight onto the breather port bought new hoses and cut to the sizes i needed to keep it all nice, smooth and un-kinked, the ones it came with were gash sizes and made it awkward re-cut the threads on the oil return fitting as they were real rough, now they go in loads
  8. Got one for nothing from a garage i go to at work, which was good, cheers anyway ps VW wanted £80!!! robbing f***kers
  9. Infinity comp! good choice! If your after a sub theres a shop on ebay selling infinity perfect 10vq subs for £100inc p&p and they are awesome, well pleased with mine, ive got infinty comps all round and the sub ties it all together really well ps that breather your after, i check mine today and the concertina part is split so i need a new on aswell! damn it! check on yours if you actually have any electrical connections under that plug? mines an empty socket so itll work out alot cheaper apparently
  10. Started fitting the kit today and so far its claims that its an 8hr job are b0110x. Has anyone found that the pipe work on either side of the oil catch can needs trimming to size? everytime i fit it in a diferent way im still always left with kinked pipes, or its just horrible looking with the catch can jammed against the suspension tower some of the coupler hoses are just too long, ive check all combos and still things dont add up Does the breather that runs from next to the TB behind the inlet mani get removed completly and the pipe from the catch can go straight onto were it once was (ie bi
  11. my sis had a fiat 126 as her 1st car, that thing ran on £10 of petrol a month and the insurance was pennies, you can get them for £150, theyre tiny so you could stick it in ur garage if you have one and just forget about it, but at least you keep ur ncb ticking over, it would save you in the long run probably ps people put fireblade and hyabusa engines in fiat 126's and they f00king fly!
  12. you will have to bin off your ncb anyway if you cancelling your policy or just letting it run out as ncbs only count if they are in concurrent years i think. You will get a bit of a cheaper quote due to age but nothing really noticable until 25, at which point you tend to start getting it alot cheaper Adrian flux and elephant ive always used since i was 18 and always have a good price. If you use adrian flux, Fully join up on here, go to shows and subscribe to magasines like PVW you will get alot better price do alot of shopping around as some companies dont want your business, but will give y

  17. schricks are good with a charger once you set them to activate 500rpm (3000rpm instaed of 3500)lower that it normally does, just flick a few switches as per instruction manual, they are about £1300 but they pop up second hand a fair bit or group buys are good to look out for, i want one at some point 268 are abit to big a profile for a charger i think, I think a few use 248 (?) but ive heard that stock cams are pretty good for chargers anyway, if you did want cams dougherty racing ones are good and about £210 and i think he may possibly do a model for s/c vr6s specifically I would say tho if
  18. think its obd2. i have a feeling the obd 1 version followed the shape of the oil filler cap and curved around it. Later ones were straight like that one
  19. direct from the warranty sheet that came with mine last thurs clean and inspect oil feeds and do oil change every 3000 miles with OE oil plug every 8-10000 filters at normal intervals good thing with these kits is if you look atfter the engine (reg servicing, letting it warm up before flooring it etc) the charger will keep itself sorted, so long as it is getting a good supply of clean oil. id imagine they will go on and on until its evident that its on its way out( bearings noisey, running probs etc) ps use optimax or other hi octane fuel aswell, 50-50 mix of g12+ coolant and if it hasnt got o
