    na it went to a young girl (early 20's) from scotland! on her way back from a show in wales today' date=' big thanks to ICY off ed38 for telling her about the car true mate, best car iv owned by far tho, the search begins!

    sold my vr6 today, the first person to look at it had it... she had it with standard 15inch wheels on it.. so it went for 2.5k, still happy with the price cus i got the bbs splits to sell, ABT splitter has gone for 100 notes and stubby mirros went for 150 so could push 3.4k+ when all bits are sold not sure what im getting next, could be a 4mo, could be something more boring, but it will be newer... had a great 5 years with the site btw

    wow thats alat of money mate, thats insane, cant see how they can charge all that and not do the timing chains.. its the most expensice job... id of got second opinions before letting them do it. would have worked out cheaper buyin a minter to start, but at least its mint now

    i think the area and how much they want your business is a huge variable... i find some companys are really good but as soon as you mention mods they get scared, where as brentacre have an unlimted mods policy, think a-flux do it too.. plus you have to play them off each other, they will always want to beat the next best quote you have had

    losing my love too, hence why mines for sale, im also unsure about takin a loan iv seen mk4 R32's go for 8k and less on autotrader but running costs are quite high

    lol how much power are you putting out matty? iv put 17's on all 3 of my mk3 golfs, had 3 sets on this one, imo any other size looks too small / big

    its only really pulling off you notice the differnece you cant wheel spin on 17s, but the drive is the same

    i think iv made a mistake... should have sold the wheels seperae.. i just spent 140 putting tyres back on them thinking id get more interest and iv had zero interest at price 3650... with id sold them bare and sold the car alot less... might put them up for sale, aswell as bumpers and tailgate and possibly leather all on part exchange basis

    bodge, i have a deep standard splitter on at the moment and some one interested in the ABT one for 100quid so im a step ahead of you, na think im gonna try the wheels on 1st
