  1. Hi, I have just completed a mk2 vr6 and i had the whole mk3, i used the mk3 subframe and rear beam, wide tracked it but kept 5 stud as i wante the 288mm brakes. I also went with the corrado pedal box and clutch master, cutting a hole in the bulkhead was easy enough.
  2. Hi all, ok so the other day i went to unlock my 96 VR and the central locking didnt work at all so i thought maybe my battery was flat. so i turned the ignition and the needles on the clocks kind of moved and everything is set back to "0" (apart from the milage!) now i have noticed when i finish driving and turn the ignition off all the needles stay where they were last before turning off. when i the turn the ignition they reset to "0" dont know if they are related?? any ideas anyone?
  3. nice one, this will make things easier!! cheers dude
  4. Hi does anyone know if the mk3 golf beam fits a mk2 golf??

  9. Right finally got the wheels on today, its still need camber and tracking doing but thought i'd post some more pics so you can see how they look on! adaptors on!
  10. fair play i dont want to look stupid just still new to the VR world!!!
  11. yeah i had supersport spring and dampers on it when i got it and they have been on only 6 months and the rear one is leaking which it failed its MOT on, obviously i didn't know this until after i had ordered the coilovers so i guess it worked out for the best!!!
  12. not sure mate, to be honest i oredered supersport coilovers and had delivery issues so the company i ordered off sent me these instead they said they were highsports????? ~I've just compare pics off highsports and silverlines and they do look alot like silverlines??
  13. They ar FK Highsports, i've heard they are a bit bouncey but they seem ok to me but i haven't really driven far yet. Nice bit of kit though really easy to fit
