    i would expect that the water in your footwell is coming from a damaged membrane behind the door panel.. had this with 2 of my other golfs, some twat had mucked around with window reg or speakers and not stuck the membrane back down properly, its hard to believe but the amount of water that can get in is unbelievable! i came back to my Rallye once and at least 2 inches of rain in the passenger foot well after heavy rain! you can buy new grey foam type membrane from vw and they also sell the bonding stuff too, best to use some clear silicone sealant imo, its cheaper too!

    PMSL, those people are f*cking weird!!! why would you wear the same "french" belt as 1/2 million other soap dodgers? why buy a pair of jeans you cant see your feet in? why then wear said jeans with the gusset slung 2 inches off the floor? why would you buy a pair of the crap canvas trainers with little rubber discs on the ankle part? why would you have an abnormally long fringe so you cant see where your going? i supose most goths are predominantly "ginger" hence the want for black hair? the thing that puzzles me is why oh why do all these weirdos parents have high power jobs earn shite loads

    one of my pals has got one, its a bit like a vr in a lot of ways, you think oh this is sedate, nice interior, good controls 6 speed box......then let it have a boot full and it changes into a different beast, its a bit of a sleeper car too, no-one except v dubbers tend to even know whats under the hood or the floor pan come to that, very subtle car the 4 mo, my mates is black with black leather, not keen on the "wood" trim inside but it grew on me after a while and theres not much of it anyway, definately a good buy at around 7k

    I must say i havnt had any major issues with my VR in 15 months of ownership, abs sensor, and a rear windscreen wiper arm!!! other than what i have wanted to spend, wheels & tyres, coilovers i havnt spent a bean! just on petrol like all things mechanical at some point something wears out, maybe i am just lucky? anyway despite reliability shes going up for sale in the next 6 weeks and the new owner can benefit from good fortune, i have finally moved house now and once i got a few jobs sorted my next V dub will be on the (new) driveway all 3200 cubic centimetres of engine and twin tail pi

    thats sad man, i knew he was ill but due to snooker not being the forefront of sport news i suppose it has been low key, the worst thing about it is it will please those sick f****rs on that website http://www.deathlist.net/ where they bet on who will snuff it in the year and gain "status" for guessing right! there was outrage when they put hunter`s name on there last year.

    I drive a Skoda VRS at work every day, definately a top car for the money, handling and looks, they are quick standard so i expect yours was a monster!

    Utter shite imo, you will be better off putting a McDonalds chip under your bonnet! stick £25 of Shell Optimax in your car! and enjoy it, all these quick fixes for bhp are a load of testicles, exhausts, filters, head work, or cams or a proper remap are the only ways to improve on standard bhp unless you go charged

    oh and found this info on DVLA..... plates have to be BS AU 145d, the characters have to be 89mm and be of the british recognised type face, it says on there if you fail to display it correctly they can withdraw your plate in extreme cases??????? what like if you make your number plate read B053 LAX ???? thats the plate i want for my R32 when i get it and its available from DVLA!!!! SO BOLAX to em!
